I am deeply grateful for your boldness to speak out about Pastor Rick Warren being selected to speak at Ebenezer Baptist Church. Recently in the state where I live I was stripped of my legal rights to enter into a Covenant Relationship with the person I love in a recent election. This has caused me tremendous grief and has wounded me so deeply I cannot even express it in words. I pray to God that the spirit to overcome that motivated Dr. King will heal me in my ongoing struggle for equal rights.
BIGOT, n. One who is obstinately and zealously attached to an opinion that you do not entertain.
MLK was a plagiarist and a philanderer. He also held theological beliefs at odds with his church and Christianity in general. As such, I, for one, do not consider him an authority and I do not care what he would think. My civil rights hero is Vernon Johns, and I would like to think that he would not join in your vapid condemnation.
Homophobic + bigot = One who is obstinately and zealously attached to an opinion that homosexuals should be feared and loathed. Instead of addressing the issue you attack the messenger with trash talk and name calling. MLK was 100 times the man you will ever be. The inauguration of Barack Obama is proof of that! People might take your opinion more seriously when a National Holiday is held in your honor like the man you pompously mock.
Excellent! Many leaders of the civil rights movement are coming out and speaking about Obama's choice of Rick Warren. Its good to see that these leaders are holding Obama accountable for his choices. It shows that these students of non-violent protest got what their movement was about, it was about justice, peace and freedom for all humans and it makes my heart glow with love for these people who are trying to keep these fires lit.
Like Warren gives a shit what this guy says. This man should have spoke directly to President Obama for inviting Warren to his inauguration.

Fabulous! Tell it like it is!
Just one word of us: we are not "homosexual Americans." The h-word is clinical in origin and derisive in most common modern use.

I actually find the term "gay" to be more negative and derisive in common use, generally, than homosexual typically is.
