Who cares if the 9800GTX isnt the fastest card on the market. It only isnt by the biggest gap of about about 10fps. Plus the 9800GTX is 199 now. Soo price to prefrom its unbeatable. So are the Ati 4850s/70s. GTX 280 and GX2 are a waste of money.

Oh yeah I know 8800Gt is a real monster too. Especially the XFX version if u get ur hands on it for 90euros thats a very good deal. Two of em in SLI is not as fast as a 9800GTX but ur really ahve to get a FPS counter to see the difference.

I know but 15% is still something. At common retailers in my region XFX8800GT is around $250 US dollars and I got my XFX9800GTX

for $200 on eBay so I consider it a good deal.

You can run 2 9800GTX's on a 700watt PSU, as long as the PSU is certified to be used for SLI. So just get a 700watt or more PSU that supports SLI.

what ultra setting are u talkin about, im also running vista without sp1 like i said i have it @ 16XQCSAA and i cant tell u exactly how much fps im getttin because it never stays steady but about from 45-53

well theres an overall graphic setting which i believe is the the one at the top, theres high and then ultra, i fixed a driver problem now im running it at 1920x1200 4x aa at max 35-40 fps
