IMO there will never be CS2 because there isn't enough you could change about it without losing the entire fanbase, and without making it too complicated. Besides making it on a grander scale, and adding vehicles, and whatnot it'd just be battlefield, or any of those games.

Still, CS:S was a disappointment (to me) and I'm so mad that valve did not continue to update it, rather than just simply port it with less maps, and game modes. I hope this mod (is it a source mod?) will be released soon.

I don't know what to think about this game. The graphics look just as outdated, if not, worse, than Counter-Strike, and the shooting looks bland and terrible. But at least the character art has been improved.

@jozeaphe obviously, you didnt get into the closed beta. if you get passed the random noobs who run in and get killed right away, there is an insane amount of room for tactics. thats why there is an ingame plan designer as you wait for the round to start. besides, how can you expect next gen graphics from a team of less than ten guys? this is indie, and not the latest release from bungie.

Well the animations definatly need some rewrk... ive seen some other movies aswell. Its totally unrealistic at the moment but with some finetunning this could be something.

Ever since counter-strike released a picture of a terrorist grabbig a hostage I wanted to do this, it wasnt possible in CS.

The game looks like fun. Right now I need that kind of game. Left4Dead was short, Resident Evil 5 for kids, not scary, WOWarcraft gets old. Starcraft2 not my thing.

Counter Strike is even fun today! I think the game has a chance to become a success. It looks like that kind of game that I need.

Dogs, guns, hostiles - a lot of strategy, shooting.
