i have a question what do u sugest a rod and reel for fishing frogs and the reel has to be able to use braid

@falconrod1 I use a 7'6" MH/MF St. Croix Legend Tournament and a Shimano Curado (the 200E). Basically, if you're gonna be throwing frogs in slop, pads, thick stuff, you're going to want about the same type of rod as you'd use as a flippin' stick. (I use the same rod to flip as i do to throw frogs). The Curado's a great power reel - gears/brake won't wear from horseing fish out of thick stuff. I use 40lb test power pro - use braid cause it floats so it wont make the frog dive and its no stretch

well i can understand that but i just purchased one and i have not had the chance to use it it just makes me think there is a reason he is not using it because far as i can tell he has used it once...

@divemanred He might have it set up for other stuff. I got 10 rod setups only 2 are the same, Frog rod setup & Crankin setup Etc.

i got a tip: this will help u catch more fish than just realing the fish in..... twitch the frog to make it hop it will get alot more strikes, ..... u might be doing that i just cant see
