This woman truly, truly sings and acts at the same time, and I think this is one of the best examples. You believe every word she sings, and her moods are so crazy infectious. I was grinning right from the start, and all but practically laughing at the end. She just looked so happy! <3
i used 2 b so hot 4 this woman when i was a teenager. Now a days i think she resembles nicole kiddman & sheena easton wit a littlle touch of madonna, sarah jessica parker, brooke shields & jessica simpson. I know. I'm crazy! LOL
the people accompanying should always follow the singer, not the other way round! if they'd followed when she slowed down, it would have made it a far better performance. not that it could get much better! SHE'S AMAZING <3
I love how she can get ahead of the music, or fall behind the music, but she can catch herself up in a way where she makes it sound like it's supposed to be that way. Other singers make it sound like a mistake, but she makes it work. I love it.

I remember whispering to dad whenever she was on tv, so mom wouldn't hear. (Mom hated her. Called her "showoff," which I think was code for...well, you know.)
Oh, I know she was 45 then, but have you seen her recent appearances? She's still very young-looking.
The song choices are probably influenced by her stage shows that she was doing at the time. She could sing the phone book, and I would be enthralled. :)
