Thank you very much. Without this tutorial I would have been stuck with 3 balls of wool and 3 unmade Christmas presents! I am a pretty experienced knitter, but the 'instructions' were useless. Your video is excellent.
I just bought a ball of this wool to try and knit a scarf, not having knitted in years. I've done my first ros and on the wool instructions it says to start and end each row with 1 knit stitch. What is meant by that? and how to I move on to my second row? Thanks The Mia139
@TheMia139 The video does explain this. Normally you are knitting two stitches on each strand. At the end of a row you knit 1 stitch, then on the second row, you knit from the same strand.
I tried this method as I went along with your video and it works and looks great. So easy to do as well. You have explained it very well and I found it easy to follow.
thank you so much for showing me how to cast this on. I had spent ages trying and was about to give up when i came across your video - very well explained and demonstrated. Im flying now - but ill be back when i need to cast off!!!

How many grams wool I need to knit a scarf (2 meters or 78 inches)?
blauwehortensia 4 months ago
@blauwehortensia You would need 2 balls. 1 ball makes a scarf that has 12 stitches and is 1.55m long.

You're an absolute saviour! The instructions on the label weren't helpful, but your video saved me from wasting £10.00 worth of yarn! xxx
