  • well, for the most part these tutorials are for the most part pretty good, for the most part.

  • What if i follow along and finish the whole 200 videos to find out that things still dont make sense?!

still, i'm not quitting.. (for the most part)

  • @Baaataaataaa

for the most part youll have to watch it all over again ;p

  • A bit of exposition would be helpful.

I need to know what is coming and why your teaching it that way.

    EXAMPLE

"""... we are making five buttons 2 in java and 3 in XML...or whatever the case is...that way i can show you how to do such and such a few different ways."""

Lay out the path a bit so i know whats coming and how your going to get there. So i know these are different ways to get to the same place or not.

Knowing your plan would be helpful.

  • "For the most part" is getting a little annoying.

  • nice tutorials but you must stop appologize every second! a begginer will never really understand the oop stuff from this tutorials (and he shouldnt as well), and for advanced programmers this is sometimes too slow... anyway thanks for the hard work!!

  • Thumbs up if you watched all 20 tuts in a day :D

  • I get and error in runtime saying.. unfortunately 'appname' has stopped

How can I fix this? Inbox me someone please!

  • Nice work man!

  • @colombiak hell yeah

  • I get Unhandeld Expection type ClassNotFoundException ; but i have the startingpoint.java in the same package ... any help ? :(

  • Its all about learning new things, nice one Travis, good work son

  • He could've just constructed the intent with intent( Menu.this, startingPoint.class)... It's weird the startingPoint isn't capitalized.

  • You can subscribe to this playlist. Click on "Android Application Development Tutorials (thenewboston)" playlist link under my comment. Thumbs up to help others!

  • If it was easy a 200 part series wouldn't be needed.

  • @calebthevideomaker

    Easy != time consuming

  • When you say you need a context for the intent, what do you mean by context? I don't really understand that.

  • most will quit until they get to the 200th android video.. thumbs up if u are not a quitter!

  • @mastermax7777 to bad there are only 200 vid's

  • @mastermax7777 The amount of likes your comment gets will be the views for the 200th episode!

  • @mastermax7777 RAWR!!!

If i quit! i can surly say byebye to my Msc diploma :p

Thank GOD there's travis else ill had to read Gigabytes of e-books that no skill noobs puted on the net :p

  • @mastermax7777 only 171 programmers will get pro XD

  • @supersushi269 Maybe you're right :p

    Viewrates per tutorial #:

    1 - 220.000

    2 - 52.000

    10 - 26.000

    20 - 14.000

    30 - 8.500

than it stays round about 8500 views, until the end wich is 201 videos. And if you thought it ended there...He was just warming up, there's a ton more coming :p

  • I was thinking of quitting because this is quite confusing, BUT that would mean I installed all that software for nothing??? NO WAY!!!!

  • @JoxerAdy you should've learned java first

  • @mangopearandapples I have started learning it. I am not new to programming, but this still makes little sense.

  • I think its better if you explain first and not "we will come later and, oh! thats how it works"...

  • Dude, Your website is down.
