Hey guys, i have the solutions manual for EVERY chapter for giancoli physics 6th edition including the work to get to the answer. If you want the solutions manual, contact me at luin.xin@gmail(dot)com
What's the physics concept behind the duct tape boat? Buoyancy? I really liked when the kid said that 1.3 million jewels were released. Solid. Cool videos. -Bv.
this is all chemistry.. i did this all.. in chemistry. especially the last 2. but still more interesting then the demonstrations in our ap physics.. regardless of this being chemistry experiments... theres no physics to calculate in those experiments.
I was watching your marimba video and clicked on your profile, and I watched this, because I took AP Physics this year.
And out of the whole burning and explosion and thermite thing, my favorite part is the true Physics geekiness coming through, when someone talks about "1.3 MILLION JOULES!"

@CharityCow
you fogot all chemistry is caused by physics.
why do you think the highest level chemistry courses are usually physical chemistry?

@CharityCow Physics is the central science >.>

@happymerc
We had about 1400 kids that year I think. It was also the first year for our AP physics class so we had a lot of influence on what we could do.

this was very entertaining.
therminte is, in fact, flammable.
when dense enough.
otherwise it's kind of pointless. burns about as fast as normal cloth would if its not dense enough. otherwise, it goes boom.

okay, sorry. And your marimba video was sweet. :D

Thermite is not highly flammable; quite the opposite really...
