  • i love it..♥

  • This is choice! Even a couple of beers in..... I play grade 1 in Aus and I appreciate these guys are feakin awsome.. well done LA Scots!

  • @Maconmara1 which band????

  • great back sticking passage! very cool solo. Thanks for posting!! have a great season this summer =]

  • I was there for this and saw the Glengarry Grade 2 drum corps perform after. Glengarry smoked these jokers.

  • oh for sure man glengarry kicks ass!

  • First of all...the LA Scots (who did not have to compete that day) were several beers in by the time this "contest" came around.

Secondly, Glengarry is a grade 2, and LA is a grade one...and not at the bottom either. They are somewhere in the top 5% of the drum corps in the world. I recommend you show a little more respect for this corps...with an average age of 21 mind you.

Not taking anything away from the Glengarry folks, but let's be a bit more respectful, as there are MANY viewers, ok?

  • @yesiamamick well said. even if you're not a fan show some respect for the art of music, and for the time and dedication these people have put into learning the craft of drumming! Learn some manners folks.

  • shoot we're gonnna smoke you, joker

  • I sure enjoyed the drumming there, thanks fae scotland

  • there was a coment a while back on here about Tim Gladden. If there is somebody out there who knows how to contact him, please reply to me. He's a friend from SSA days.

  • Superb

  • nice countour hinge vests.... i like the drumming, but i like the carriers too

  • my school calls them "boob carriers" b/c they are shaped like they go inbetween then over top the boobs and are only girl snare drummer uses it

  • The lead drummer for Charleston Police was talking about how much he hates the contour hinge vests yesterday.

  • Take some lesson's from John Simpson.... from Isle Mule San Andres drum core

  • am i right in assuming that I hear a lot of Tim Gladden in that salute?

  • yes

  • very good, nice mix of scottish pipe band drumming, some american drum line stuff and a hint of the swiss secret drum corps influence in there too. Very well put together. Darren, D+G Constabulary(British G2 Drum Corps CHAMPIONS 2007 -yeah-)

Hope to see you guys at the Worlds, the other video with part of ur medley Steadfast...Standfast...whatever its called, what a tune...very nice !!

  • pipe band corps are the cleanest around competing bands anyway i play for one myself kirkcaldy and district pipe band champion of champions grade 4b 2006

  • Keep practicing, you'll make something out of that band. Haha, oh, you already have, awsome drumming from a great band. Saw you guys in Portland several years ago, what a great band.

  • so i dont get whos leading.. the first guy counts it off.. but then in the middle the third guy plys a led part...

  • The guy who counted it off is the lead drummer

  • shouldn't the lead drummer be center snare?

    tis normally what it is.

  • The lead drummer is usually in the middle

but its not uncommon for them to be on the end

  • I think i only looked at the lead drummer once... oops!

  • love it

  • BTW, I don't know anything about pipe band drumming, I only know about DCI and American marching band drumming

  • this is nice and very clean for a pipe band line, nice job

  • very nice salute, includes almost if not all rudiments, with nicely done phrases and structures, great work

  • I had the most fun playing in that beer tent. Montreal rocks!

  • Tenor drummers look like they're having loads of fun.

  • wooowwwwwwww!! realy awesome

  • i like the roll phrases.
