First of all...the LA Scots (who did not have to compete that day) were several beers in by the time this "contest" came around.
Secondly, Glengarry is a grade 2, and LA is a grade one...and not at the bottom either. They are somewhere in the top 5% of the drum corps in the world. I recommend you show a little more respect for this corps...with an average age of 21 mind you.
Not taking anything away from the Glengarry folks, but let's be a bit more respectful, as there are MANY viewers, ok?
@yesiamamick well said. even if you're not a fan show some respect for the art of music, and for the time and dedication these people have put into learning the craft of drumming! Learn some manners folks.
there was a coment a while back on here about Tim Gladden. If there is somebody out there who knows how to contact him, please reply to me. He's a friend from SSA days.
very good, nice mix of scottish pipe band drumming, some american drum line stuff and a hint of the swiss secret drum corps influence in there too. Very well put together. Darren, D+G Constabulary(British G2 Drum Corps CHAMPIONS 2007 -yeah-)
Hope to see you guys at the Worlds, the other video with part of ur medley Steadfast...Standfast...whatever its called, what a tune...very nice !!
pipe band corps are the cleanest around competing bands anyway i play for one myself kirkcaldy and district pipe band champion of champions grade 4b 2006
Keep practicing, you'll make something out of that band. Haha, oh, you already have, awsome drumming from a great band. Saw you guys in Portland several years ago, what a great band.
i love it..♥

The guy who counted it off is the lead drummer

shouldn't the lead drummer be center snare?
tis normally what it is.
al6737 4 years ago
The lead drummer is usually in the middle
but its not uncommon for them to be on the end
