  • OHH!!! You kids are awesome!! This video almost made me cry. I live in Wisconsin, but I love and support the Neuse River and I congratulate you kids for caring about it and doing something. I love the politician in your video!! He totally has it down. I don't care what party you're with, taking care of water can't be done through politics. It's up to us, not them! Great work, guys!

  • children make me wanna save the river wait what if a child ran for president

  • @iamwhity They wouldn't have the knowledge, but they'd have the heart and the innocence. Probably run our country better than it's being run right now.

  • @KellyThundercloud i can agree with that , they have good intentions , shame as they get older it is corrupted by the truth and by our leaders today. i rem whne i was young and thought there was good in everybody.

  • If we killed all the people, the rivers would be saved. People are EVIL.

  • GO SHELLY!!!

  • excellent video, we loved it.

thanks, keep up the great work.

  • these kids are too young to understand the complexity of the situation. it's indoctrination of innocent children to make a propaganda video, sick, really sick!

  • its not sick if they agree

  • @acidorian 1. Are you smarter than a 5th grader? Probably not! These kids are of age to understand the basics of pollution and ecology. 2. It's only complex because you're making it complex. The point is, our health and the health of the river depend on these sources of pollution to stop polluting. The economy's health can be separated from the pollution and can find other ways to thrive without polluting the water. 3. These kids ARE the FUTURE!

  • it's your own damn fault.

if everyone in your city were vegetarians then those hogs wouldn't be there polluting your river.

  • if evry1 in the city were vegetarians then alot of businesses would fail, and alot of us would be PUSSIES

  • sure, businesses would fail. but the demand for vegetarian food would increase, so a lot of businesses would start.

  • i live in kinston and fish there and catch right many bass and bream.

  • uh oh I go out on that river all the time during summer

  • OMG...this is hilarious. Not the facts that they are saying, but the fact that they go to my school and this was 2 years ago. =P I just looked up NC and found this. Hehe...

  • I live Smithfield there no fish in the river

  • there's fish, they're just dead

  • Great Video,

I posted it on our Canoe/Kayak website. We are all in this battle together and the sooner we start working as one, the change will come.

    Neal Conner

    HRLPaddlers

  • I went canoeing on the Neuse river, I tipped over the canoe on accident and got a mouth full of shit water

  • lol i go to this school still and i remember that they rehearsed this for 3 months or so... A little much, considering nobody has yet to do anything... still... after TWO YEARS... I live less than a mile away and it really is as nastly as they say it is...

  • Forget about this river being cleaned while Bush and Cheney are in office. The EPA is powerless and is a political organization under these criminals.

  • This is a great video, awesome work

  • i totally support this video, not b/c these people r my friends, but because its an issue that needs 2 be put out there

  • your future and my present.

You think this is BS. Just look at the raw sewage spills from Raleigh recently as well as chemical spills. think about it and have a nice cold drink of water - from the tap - as you enjoy your thoughts....

  • I am from North Carolina, I just learned about this. It's so sad. I definetly support this video.

  • ey bo i live on the neuse, it aint polluted. and one question.... what happened to these kids accents? i aint never heard a kid in nc that didnt have a accent. this video is a joke

  • That is because either these are the kids of libs who have moved here recently from somewhere else, or kids from somewhere else acting as stand-ins for local kids.

Liberals and Progressives can't stand our accent, and make fun of the way we talk.

  • I'm a good friend of these kids. It really depends on what part of NC you are from and your family.

  • So let me get this straight...people are evil?

  • NC ROCKS

  • Nice work! I lived in New Bern for a while and was quite aware of the sad state the Neuse. The real hit came when I was at a beech sweep. There were some guys from the EPA on the trip. Just out of curiosity, I asked about the Neuse and its health.

I quote "I thank God every day, I'm not working on the Neuse River water basin." I asked with horror, why? "It is too long, runs too slowly and passes way to many town and cities."..... more

  • Great video! BTW, doesn't anyone monitor the responses here? Who posted the garbage about XXX movies & dating? Will you people go some place where someone cares about that trash? The issue of clean water is important; your tripe isn't.

  • Good work. Kids seem to be really into the project.

  • Please, Do More Projects In North Carolina.

This Video Should Get More Credit Than It Has.

I Will Post It On My Myspace Page.

    Thank You

  • This is a great video; Keep up the godd work!!

  • It seems so obvious when kids say it--well done!

  • Thanks for making this video. People have to know how endangered this important river is!
