I know Dan lost his wife and I can't imagine the tension he must have when it comes to another woman.

...and he did meet her in a cute romatic way, I loved that bit.

But finding out that it's his brother girlfriend.

...yeah love at first sight, and maybe he's abit confused, a new woman in his life, yano? but fuck me.

This was an OK film. A bit contrived and from a screenwriter's perspective, not very surprising. But Jim Caroll acted well enough and probably what made this film most memorable was the focus upon family which pulls on the heartstrings of human culture. I recommend it as a family movie. I'd say the soundtrack is better than the film, though.
