  • And dares notting you can dew !!!!!

  • Hello , Mr. McGuilty , we are looking opportunity for dee people who would like to earn dee $120,000.00 dollars right away , over dee night. If interested you could to please call 911 , you fucking moronic faggot.

  • If you students want lower tuition and ancillary fees then the government should pass a law prohibiting fee increases. It's called a price ceiling. It works.

  • Thats creepy.

  • Yeah, ok. So I get what you're trying to say here. It's just not original. The Capital One ads aren't even particularly funny, and the bankers are all straight faced. The 'thumbs up McGuinty' character just doesn't work for me at all. Lesson #1 guys. If you want to make a social satire, you have to make something that entertains people.

(p.s. we have an amazing film and rta program at ryerson, yet the camera work is not great...explain?)

  • Oh Nora, I love you haha.

I love the vids lol. See ya tomorrow! :P hehe

  • Hi Nora, I am from BC and I can't wait till Feb 7th :) thank you for posting these, Dalton is a scumbag

  • w00t Ryerson's New Business Building!

  • i really enjoyed this video.. i wish we could be in daltons pocket for a change..

  • I just get bugged by the amount of effort that student unions put into beating their heads against a brick wall over tuition fees when there are other issues that could be served with our vast resources. How about lobbying textbook publishers for lower prices? Demanding all course readers be printed on recycled paper, or better yet available as PDFs online?

  • There are profs that already do that; my ecology/aetiology so far does. They'll compile an e-textbook on Primis by McGraw Hill. And the prices are as low as $30-$40. But that's not the point. Textbook prices aren't constantly rising as much as tuition fees and you could always sell your textbooks...

  • funny though, read the EyeOpener this week? The Prof's salaries are rising at kind of a ridiculous rate, as is the President's salary.

  • Yes, yes, I read it. Well I'm not surprised. They do have doctorates and their salaries do increase due to the number of years they have been around and seniority. But same goes for teachers at the secondary school level with doctorates. My gr.12 chemistry teacher was well off into a 6-figure salary.

  • natalyaa : good point , beware of the electronic possibility , that you can lose alot on a computer , with nothing to sell or physically hold. Dalton is counting on it , and he will blame you for not taking care to see your dollars are secure. He's a very nice criminal.

  • I would love for you to explain your math where 5 percent actually equals two point five percent.

  • The increase in tuition is a lot smaller than you folks make it out to be. Keep in mind that over half of your tuition is already subsidized by various levels of government. So a seemingly large increase of 5%, is in fact an increase of 2.5% - approximately in line with inflation.

People will pay $20,000 for a car no problem, but paying for an education is somehow the worst thing in the world (and like cars, you can get a pretty good loan deal if you are from a low-income family)?

  • yeah thats a bit of a problem with the argument of high tuition costs... while I personally am not in the position of being able to afford a $20,000 car , or are flush with cash. Sitting in my MKT 200 class last term, 20 or 30 out of 250 students admitted to buying $200+ jeans. Unfortunately that makes us just look whiny.

  • and maybe those twenty or thirty get all theyre money from mom and pop. just thought i'd point it out. and many middle income kids cant make ends meet because they cant get osap but theyre families really cant afford it, despite what osap thinks, or theyre family wont pay.

  • I refute you, Sir. That is all.

  • You deleted my mildly critical comment? Can't handle difference of opinion, eh?

  • Behold, for I have applied the concept of Capital One commercials to a politician I dislike on youtube! My political commentary is both profound and irrefutable!

  • So McGuinty "allows" universities to increase fees and HE'S the one you're complaining about?
