@thormx47 check the polarity of the LEDs are facing the right way. You can also use a voltmeter to make sure the wire you connected to the Positive is generating a pulse to the 2nd negative for the error light.
Q: So to make the error you need to connect the negative of the red led to the large soldier square (THE ONE NO USED YET) and the positive to the common positive (the other square that is connected to the "green" led positive)?
@funny962 Yes, to make the secondary error lights light up if there is an error, (RRod or if the AV Cable wasn't plugged in), you need to use the positive from the left side, by pass the smaller middle negative and finish it with the LED connecting to the right most point. As always, the proper polarity direction matters.
@geometrywarsiscool The diagram is available when you purchase from our webstore. As for using tissue instead of desoldering wire? Good Luck and let me know how it goes. Never tried it.
never buy a wireless soldering iron, the heat made melted the batteries in mine and its now only hot enough to to melt itself, i should have got a wired...
If you use too much force, you can break the mount off where the LEDs attach to. Then, that LED will not light up anymore. Besides that, you could burn the board, yourself, or anything else around you.

@XvBobMarleyvX You can buy seperate circuit boards and use them. Microsoft does not check for unique serial numbers with this component.
E-mail me if you are interested in one.

Lol thanks. I accidently like took most of the silver stuff off one of the three mounts, does this mean it wont work?
geometrywarsiscool 1 year ago
@geometrywarsiscool The silver stuff is the solder. That doesn't matter. Its the copper mounts that you need.
