Loved this scene! It shows just how much she loves Castle even if she didn't realize it at the time! She sacrificed knowledge about her mother's murder for Castle's life! Wow! The song The End by Pearl Jam was a perfect fit!

This is totally why I watch the show! all the eye communication right before Castle headbutts him (all Mal) and that "oh yeah she wants me grin" Castle has when Beckett tells him she's likes having him around "pulling her pigtails" always keeps me coming back for more.

@Crabb90 Think he had a bullet in his heart, not lung. CPR in this case helps by stopping the bleeding and keeps the heart beating to send blood to the brain and in the best case would keep the person alive long enough for the ambulance to arrive.

@Crabb90 Part of the actions of CPR helps keep the heart pumping when your body can't do it on it's own. Technically you can survive if this is continued, even with blood loss, but they would not have got to him soon enough to help her with any of it.

@theodoreros She's going through the ABCs. He's still breathing (can see the actor "breathing" so...) but there's probably no circulation. Got to keep the heart beating to keep the guy alive.
