slk class power is very important. this is sports car. not sedan. always MB car little bit more expensive than BMW competition class. why more pay for slower sports car? just design ang styling? of course, it's very important. however, sports car is power and activity more more important. have you experience run 160mph? if not,

you don't understand my mean. 2012 slk 350 lost from 2011 Z4.. this fact, made me upset and dissapoint. even before, 2005 slk350 compare with M3.

this is 2005 new slk 350 manual shift orner. i expect 2012 slk series for 6 years.

however, this 2012 slk is very disappointed. because, 0- 60 mph is only 5.5 sec.

it's tatally same as 2005 model. i expected 2012 slk will be 4.7 to 4.8. because passed

time for 6 years. engine technology is more nicer than 2005. why mercedes made

like this 2012 slk? even new BMW Z4 is 0-60 mph 4.9 sec. it's so ugly fact to me.

@Reilangley I was about to say the same thing, because I can see a lot of  BMW design language (Z4) in this SLK. The profile, surfaces and that front over-hang is all BMW! This does not look like a Merc.

I'm not seeing what you are seeing. The Z4 is much rounder while this slk has more hard lines and angles...it still looks distinctively mercedes. The rear lights look like c-class headlights...actually this just looks like a c-class roadster.

Things about the automobile to improve:

1. Do away with the front grill.

2. Change the circle steering wheel.

3. Change the Shift Knob (on steering wheel and center console).

4. Somehow correct the modern door handles because they feel loose when opening.

5. Electric propulsion.
