@Muffin401It's Betel leaves, it has a very sharp, tangy taste. A little bitter as well but that's more from the Areca nuts that they put inside the leaf when it's eaten. If you've eaten wasabi it's sort of like that but more 'peppery' in taste if that makes sense :D
