Trust me, dont bother to watch this anime. Rather, read the manga and start at the beginning of volume 3. This anime is loosely accurate compared to the manga and season 1

Il Teatrino is the second season and I think it has a more defined plot. I like the first season better because I like the way the anime was drawn. The characters in the second season are "prettier", and look softer. Personally, I prefer the way they were drawn in the first season.

They think they have the right to do so since they are the ones who brought life to those little girls, and they arent afraid of death since those girls will protect them conditionally. Henrietta and other girls know that they are being used by the Corporation, but they dont mind it, cuz thanks to them, they are still alive.

I've never seen a show change this much between seasons. All the heartbreaking subtlety is gone and seem to have been replaced with mainstream animu nonsense. Maybe I'm jumping to conclusions, but the beginning does not bode well...

Personally speaking, there's already too much stuff that Noizi Ito is involved with these days, so it's a breath of fresh air.

Is a nice anime, the real police uniform, real sirens, real places, but i can not tolerate a thing because I'm part of the separatist party can express my dissent in that here we deliberately portrayed as terrorists, but here in Italy we are being beaten and some years ago beaten with government consent.

Think how hard it would be for an enemy agent to infiltrate; He come's in with a perfect french accent after learning italian and suddenly everyone's speaking japanese! Alternatively it could just be that it was easier on the viewers and voice actors.

They ruined it!!! the 1st season was ao much more better quality that was touching on ghost in a shell level of anime, n style-it was so much more original. The director and production company was different- 2nd season seems to have been cheapened. even the opening music is cheap. They really screwed up a good anime with this 2nd season. I hope they redo it with the season 1s director,company n musicians.

Come on, now. It's translation convention; you're supposed to accept that it's in French or Italian and translated for convenience.

Have you ever tried to watch Neon Genesis Evangelion and listen to the Japanese voice actress for Asuka speak in German? Believe me, pretending that they're speaking in Italian/French is much less painful than actually listening to Japanese voice actors try and actually speak in Italian/French.

Ah - exactly. It's a Jappanese anime, marketed to Jappanese people who mostly only speak Jappanese. Therefore, like in the American version where they all speak english, they speak Jappanese, the dominant language of it's market.

actually, I hope they put some, or little italian dialogue, like the manga did. Because the manga itself is so fine at presenting the Italian surroundings, and it's so cool to see Italian phrase added in there.

The surroundings yes, the behavior no. To me, it always seems like the main characters act less like Italians and more like Japanese living in Italy: very cold, very distant. Italians are more physical and unembarrassed by affection. Culture clash, really.

Most of you are wondering why they live in italy and are speaking japanese. Simple. When we have cartoons and they are from Italy, they speak English not italian for the simple reason that since japanese people are watching this anime, they wont understand english like we would understand Italian.

Thanks for the upload. Having watched both seasons of the anime series before, I can't help but wonder why the SWA doesn't give their multi-million dollar cyborg assassins ANY specialist equipment. Would it make them bankrupt to hook Rico up with a PSG-1 (none of that designated marksman rifle crap)? How about a Sphinx-3000 for Triela? This may sound random/vain but these little ones are risking their butts out there... is it too much to provide them with the best gear to help get the job done?

hey, dragunov is a good gun. H&K weapons just seems to much like toys, with the nice plastic and futuristic styling. and they are little girls, so smaller guns are just easier to conseal. Sphinx-3000 is larger than a m1911, they both kill people, btw p230 is much much smaller, their mission arent arent facing off with invading soldiers, so a good reliable gun is good enough for the job.

this season was made by a different company. although its based off of the same manga, the different art styles and editing techniques are the signatures of the different companies. you'll also notice the voice actors have changed. its very sad.
