  • great get-up... i mean set-up. lol

  • hey i was thinking about getting a piosion dart frog. money is not really a problem i was just wondering if they are farley easy to take care of?

  • very very easy! once the terrarium is set up and temp/humidity is correct. fruit fly cultures are easy. just dust the flies and drop them in. mist a couple times a day because the frogs love it, and enjoy! i have three males but if there were a female, I'm sure tads would follow

  • that a pretty sick set up yo yo yo!

  • thanks, me likey too

  • Sweet tank! What kind of music is that? I like it. =)

  • beautiful set up man

  • gratzi

  • Those Particular frogs contain enough poison to kill up to 10 humans...these little guys are natural killers, they just dont know it ....YET!

  • You're thinking of Phyllobates terribilis. These are azureus. They don't have enough poison to kill anyone. Most dart frogs are only poisonous enough to taste bad to anything that would attempt to eat them.

  • i have a couple of them too (mint bicolor subspecies) very different personalities, just posted them, pretty poor quality but worth checking out

  • well just depends on how many ants thay eat thay get there poison from the ants thay eat in the wild

  • no all dart frogs can kill you but not in a tank

  • captive ones are harmless thay get there poison from eating ants

  • yeah you are right. ALL dart frogs are HIGHLY poisonous in the wild. they contain enough poison to kill faarr more than 10 humans. and it is true that in captivity they lose their toxicity because we feed them flightless fruit flies and stuff as opposed to the toxic insects they normally acquire their poison from in their natural diet.

...though i suppose if you could feed them their normal diet in captivity, they would remain poisonous. pretty scary.

  • awesome frogs fucking sweet:)

  • hahaha how cute:X

  • beutiful D. azureus

  • ty

  • exo terra terrarium, right?

  • yup good eye

  • Nice set-up. I'm looking at getting some dart frogs. Tune goes well too!

  • not really poisonous, have handled them, in fact videod it and posted it, some believe the diet doesen't provide the alkaliniods necessary to produce poison because even wild captured frogs lose their toxicity after a while, although no one knows for sure

  • Nice video Whoren G. Got a little free time?

    -LL COOL K

  • Beautiful vivarium and azureus!
