It's a shame the first place he goes to when he hears Dumb and Dumber is the toilet scene.

That might be the "highlight" of the movie from the Farrelly Bros. perspective, a la the hair gag on There's Something About Mary, but I think that diminishes the rest of the jokes in the movie, which are what make it hysterical.

"Dumb & Dumber" is a classic, I don't give a fuck what anyone say's. It's one of the most repeatedly watched and quoted movie's ever, and it's still just as hilarious as it was, almost 17 year's ago. Jeff Daniels definitely held his own in that movie, he's just as funny as Jim Carrey is in it. In my opinion, anyway.

Jeff also did another hilarious comedy, the lessor known, "Trial and Error". I think it was intended to be a breakout vehicle for Michael Richards of "Seinfeld", but Jeff stole every scene. I have it on video, but can't seem to find it on DVD for some weird reason - it also stars a very young and gorgeous Charlize Theron, so it's a mystery to me why it's still out of print....
