I love the anubias all over the wood. looks fantastic i have seen a bunch like it with what usually looks like java moss. to grow the anubias without the roots in the substrate is there anything special i would need to use to get nutrients to them?

hello i was just wondering how you clean a planted tank without messing up the plants and getting the substrate all over the tank. i am going to get a new tank for my beta being as i believe my 1.5 gallon is cruel. and i think the plants have a nice effect. also if i get some neon tetra what tank size would you recommend. oh and btw cool tank

@stampoosh i think it is just drift wood that has plants growing on it... ive been searching for an "underwater tree" for a long time and asked a lot of my lfs and none of them said something like that exists for aquariums.... :/

@alexchen215 The plants used to simulate the leafs on the tree are Anubias nana mini petit an aquatic plant that usually is used in different place on a normal aquarium.

Take a look at previous videos to understand how I have done it... too easy!

Nice iwagumi.First I thougth you put much stones but it looks good after I see cubas spread. Im shocked after I read you used led lighting , I read leds are not enough for planted aquariums at many forums.

@utubewantsmeregister, Depends of the quality of the led lighting system. Normal led isn't good but if you use high top led with 3w per Led it will work.

I'm working with this lighting system from long time and in different layouts and plants, and at moment is very effective and the results are stunning.

Regarding the surface, yes I've used a fan to give that effect and avoid the reflex of the anubias on water's surface.

@FaaoStudio hear ya on that one. i have a 55 gallon and eventually when i get my own house i want to cut out the wall and format a wall aquarium like yours for my freshwater fish. the lighting, tree, plants, rocks... its amazing and would look almost fake then get a tv and put it above it. so on every commercial or what not. i just look at the tank as my 6 foot long sideview tv. haha

Bravo. Do you have a fan blowing on the surface? I can't understand where that ripple is coming from. From the camera angle I can't see any equipment. Great looking tank. Worthy of an ADA award.
