I built one in about 2 months and used about 1/2 the voltage to activate a compressed air cartridge for e@ barrel (6 barrels) and I created a kind of division in each barrel so I can shoot 3 shots from e@ barrel but the 2nd shot won't shoot until the 1st has already gone and so on so forth....And since I have pretty intense pressure in each cartridge...it goes the length of a football feild....pretty boss I know....I'm still single.......

One of the things that makes a gatling gun what it is, is the auto-loading system. Loading a bunch of potato cannons, manually spraying hairspray in each one, and firing them all one time does not constitute a gatling gun...

Not saying the concept isn't cool, but it's nowhere near what it implies.

Also, 20-30 feet tops? Fail.

@Mo1onLabe That is exactly what i was gonna say. The beauty of gattling guns is the auto-loading mechanism and this doesn't do any of that - it's just a bunch of potato guns held together that spin.

We un-slide it, spray it in, wait a while for half the hairspray to vaporize out of the barrel, and then slide it back on.

amatures they should have used propane! they could have wired up a blow torch tank to a button valve and then split it into all the barels. that would have reduced the gassing to to simply holding the button for 2 seconds and done!

Instead of a sliding plate make a hinged plate that will allow potatoes to drop into the barrel as it turns. Make spring loaded valves with a small button that can be depressed allowing fluid to be injected in to fire chamber. Then it would fire until you ran out of ammo.
