fitting tribute to a great woman... she would have loved this one. Janee was a great humanitarian, philanthropist and a pretty darn good gardener...we miss her. Her spirit lives on.
I worked very closely with Janee on a number of major projects at the Springfield Museums and Dr. Seuss National Memorial Sculpture Garden. She was an avid gardener herself and was a very active member of the Garden Club. As a fan of classical music, Janee was an important supporter of the Springfield Symphony Orchestra. She helped raise millions of dollars for Springfield area Cultural institutions. She was one of a kind and those of us who knew and loved her, miss her still.
