Okay, I'm confused... This song rocks! So does "Trip Like I Do" and "Nice Shot". Is this the same Filter that sings the suck ass "Where Do We Go From Here", "Take my Picture" and "The Best Things in Life are Free"? Looks like a different lead singer and the latter three songs sound like generic Duran Duran wannabee music. What's the deal?

The Amalgamut might not be as in-your-face as the first two records, but artistically, it's the group's best -- and it has some SCORCHERS to boot, like "You Walk Away" and "My Long Walk to Prison." Those of you who need every track to be ruthless really just need a hug. Rock music can have a mellow side and still be great, so get a grip.

You've got to remember that Richard was way young when Short Bus was written. Youthfull angst expressed brilliantly. As he got older he got in touch with emotions other than anger, hate, and depression. I love all filter, but ShortBus is my favorite!
