story maybe not, but a better ending definitely yes. Abyss has also character with more background then symphonia had. But then again the game came out later too so they had time to developped it with a lot of background.

in the church and stuff when they sang it was very stric there was a very spacific way to sing it. then hyms were taught to young kids that were to be a monk in a future and kids that werent why because it was a long time ago and it was demeanded for everyone in that time to know how to sing it and also to be upheld for the next generations. any more questions ^^

Anyway i don't pretend to learn everything from a game like i did with ToS back in the day (and again there's stuff i still dont know about the game) but yeah thats because i dont have the patience to stick and read long text.
i didn't learn it from a game back in the day in school in grade 7 we got into the subject in music class and i still remember that stuff so i was just going along with what i know ^^

God, I love the Grand Fonic Hymn, especially with that organ playing behind it. Also, I think this game had a better story and ending than ToS.
