  • 2:13, he could have just gone straight, unnessasary to lean

  • i know this is out-dated. but, i'm curious about the tires they were using. anyone know?

  • damn. that girl is hotter than R6.

  • i wipe r6's off the front of my 848 lol

  • Yamaha r6 is always the loudest screamer and damn sexy.

  • If I had a choice between riding the r6 or the hot ass girl in this video, I would choose the bike.

  • @JISINSANE3

i would prefer to stick my dick in that girls pussy

  • I'm thinking of buying my first sports bike any tips? ill b going in2 the service so i gotta have some good wheels please shoot me mail on what i could get and look for along with gear preferences.

  • dunno bout the bikw but id ride her

  • Fantastic bike! anyone looking to buy one , im selling my 2009 r6. white on red. video on my page :D

  • Go to your address bar, after the word YOU and before the word TUBE, type in "win" then press enter

  • how fast 1s he curv1ng?????? 1 have one of th1s b1kes and wanna know

  • there's an all-new cornering category thanks to the R6: instead of knee-dragging, it's turn signal-dragging!

  • I bought my first bike (03 R6) about a year ago have put 6K miles on it haven't laid it down yet. she is a beast everyone worried about starting out on one don't they are very forgiving as long you respect her she will respect you. just don't go off thinking you're a pro GP racer and take your time to learn.

  • in all actuality.. careful on what r6 you buy.. between 05-08.. the 07 is the betetr of the set. the 05-06 had oil problems. in 07 they got it figured out.. but in 08.. they put a lot of restrictions on the bike.... still love my r6...

  • American bike challange without american bike :d

  • The things i would do to her, i mean the bike lol

  • anybody know the background music

  • I bought a 2008 R6 for my first bike. My riding experience was just dirtbikes. Iv ridden it for 3 months now without laying it down yet. 3.5k + Miles. Yes.. although you can try to take it easy, it goes..I'm very level headed and understand the power of the bike. I do not suggest for first time though.

  • @Onemorechance12 Yeah when i got it brand new all the R6 haters told me "Oh it's not strong enough to come up on you". I told myself after I broke the bike in that I'll try and see if it's true. Well I'm at the stop light and desided to twist the trottle all the way I hit about 12,000rpm and all I saw was the skies, scared the shit out of me. Since then I raced all of the 600s and I found out with my 220lb I'm still unbeatable by a 600s. So go Yamaha ( the R6 at list).

  • I have one just like this one. Happy I chose this one. Very fast for 600cc!!!

  • def dont get one of thease as a first bike get a 250cc then maybe a yamaha xj 600 or a bandit . that way youll get use to riding and grad progress up youll die if yo get one of thease as a first bike !

  • @markennvibryan I rode a rebel for 6 months before test driving this bike in the twisties and traffic. I must admit, if I skipped riding the rebel, I would have killed myself. I do plan on getting the r6 in 2011 though.

  • want that bike?now wake up, back to the reality and start working now

  • @edmundlancelot it's sikoya minroad =)

  • @edmundlancelot YAHHH HAHA OLD SPICE BRAH

  • @edmundlancelot Want it? I own it. Save some cash and buy one. its worth every penny

  • @teemohnay wish i could say i own mine. i'm still making payments. also think akbout this to any potential buyers. i'm paying 127$ a month for insurance. granted, it's my first bike and first year riding but price is ridiculous. i thought my insurance would be cheaper with a bike, instead it was the opposite. i realize if i would've gotten a cruiser from the 80's i would probably be paying 10$ a month, but edmundlancelot is right. this beautiful piece of technology is worth every penny!

  • the best for the best

  • ATM i got a CBR 125 05, i want a R6 but i want more Experience as a rider and get a Kawasaki Ninja 250r before im getting an R6. I need more Experience but the ambitions and dreams are there already.

  • I wold like to buy an R6.I've no experience on such a big moto.Just old a Vespa.I don't have the money to buy a little one and then change.I'm a bit scared. What do you suggest?

  • Gave HitHo92 a thumb up but it never counted.

  • Wow, i can't believe it! Americans are riding REAL motorcycles, not those stiffy stinky harleys.... In Germany the people in the north are the mayor group of chopper and cruiser riders, because the streets are nearly all totally straight xD. Here in the west (80km afar from the Nürburgring Nordschleife ;P) we have corners whereever you look. That's why we're riding REAL bikes :D

  • sorry what was the point in that extra rider?

  • can anyone tell me what's the difference with an 07 and 08.. or is the 07 considering the same model up. i am lookiing to buy an r6 that has the same style headlights/ sharp body. i see some 07 with the same sharpe headlights

  • @rickboy89 the 08 has a lower fuel tank and is not wuiet as twitchy

  • @Valo1256 - The re-designed swingarm is the major reason for the improved, high speed stability on the '08 R6. The bike sucks up bumps at full lean like Cookie Monster gobbles up cookies!

  • the r6 is a beast.

  • Do not pay for Yamaha Motorcycle Manuals,It takes 1 Minute *** yamaharepairmanual . net

  • i love yamaha r6 ^^

  • An R6, or any modern 600 for that matter IS NOT a beginner bike. Less than .7 of a second separates the R6 from the R1's 1/4 mile time. What does that say to you? Modern 600cc sport bikes are state-of-the-art racing machines. Beginners belong on 250cc sport bikes or better yet, dual purpose singles that can be dropped repeatedly and never show a scratch. Respect, knowledge and skills must be acquired before stepping up to a modern 600cc or larger sport bike. Any expert will tell you the same.

  • @root9king any expert can suck my nuts. I bought a brand new 2009 r6 and had never ridden a single bike before in my life. I ride to and from work and 1 year later my bike and I am both still in perfect condition. If you respect it then it is a fine beginner bike. If you are an idiot you probably dont belong on any bike. If you drop it you are a fuckin idiot. Limiting yourself by getting a smaller (and uglier) 250 is retarded it all comes down to the rider and not the bike.

  • @GibsonElectricI - Yes, IF you respect it. Unfortunately, the number of riders who do respect the power of modern 600s and realize what they are capable of are the minority. Check the insurance stats. Half of Yamaha's sport bike sales annually are new R6s. Go down to your local cycle salvage and take a look at the sea of trashed 600 sport bikes, then try to say that anyone can ride one.

  • @root9king how many mopeds and civics and harleys are in the salvage yard as well? You can get yourself killed on anything. You can destroy anything. I could get on a 250 tomorrow and total it in 5 minutes and send myself to the hospital. The bike is not going to limit you to the point of being able to be irresponsible and be ok just because its a smaller bike. riding a 250 would have tought me nothing I couldnt have learned from my R6 and that is honest to god truth. take the msf for sure

  • @GibsonElectricI - Yes, dumb people can die on anything, true. But, a rider in over their head on a 250 enduro is far less likely to panic, pin the throttle open and slam into a redwood than one on a 105+ hp 600. You'll notice I didn't throw out a blanket statement in my first post. IF a rider is coordinated, intelligent, respects what the bike can do and has some training, then they could start on a modern 600. Unfortunately, the vast majority of beginners are not that rider.

  • @root9king Now that is a statement I can agree with. panicking on this bike will kick your ass. When I say new rider I should be clear I mean a rider who has never ridden a bike on the road before. A person who has plain never ridden a bike with a clutch period could get themselves in deep quick. I still wouldnt turn them away from a 600. One piece of valuble advice I can give is if you ever do find yourself in a panic situation go for the clutch first and foremest its your panic lever.

  • @GibsonElectricI - Not true....rippin' through the hills on a 250-600cc dual purpose bike would teach you TONS about riding. One of the best bikes I ever had was a KTM DukeII, which is a single cyl. motard. I could smoke almost any sport bike through the twisties on it. Taught me SO much about carrying corner speed, controlled sliding and late braking.

  • Comment removed

  • @GibsonElectricI - You're obviously missing the point completely. Congrats, you are a member of a small minority of beginner riders that respects the bike's capabilities and has the brains and coordination to learn on an R6. Great. BUT, the vast majority of beginner motorcyclists DO NOT...and to make matters worse, they think they do because some douche bag told them, "Dude, get a 600...it's a great beginner bike!" when they haven't even so much as ridden a moped before.

  • @root9king you are right man I sometimes regret what I say. I realize this is the internet and hopefully nobody really makes decisions based on this. I dont know you and you dont know me and niether of us knows who might be taking our advice so I think its best for me to really just shut the fuck up at this point. This could go both ways your advice might save someones life while mine might really help someone be safe and get what they want. Its too vague we would need the whole picture.

  • @root9king you might be mad at me now and think I am a stupid kid who thinks hes got the world figured out. If you met me in real life and saw how I ride my bike and how I treat other riders and how I frown upon unsafe and plain stupid riders I garuntee you would respect me as I would you. I am not in this to get people killed but I will be honest in my experiences. 28 years is a long time you know a lot more than me but you cant act like I know nothing as I been at it for a year.

  • @GibsonElectricI - I'm happy that you are living proof that new riders CAN learn on a modern 600 if they have the right approach, but when giving advice to other new riders, it is always better to error on the side of caution. It just may save their life. Be safe out there....you have the best 600 there is!

  • @root9king you are right. Im gonna delete some comments here because I really dont want to say that I give the go ahead to jump on this thing and go for it. What I will say is that every rider regaurdless of what they want to get should take the MSF course, that course is worth the $300, it will save your life, it has mine on several occasions. Not just in terms of riding skills but surviving in traffic with idiots who I asume are always trying to kill me. Anyway stay safe take care.

  • @GibsonElectricI Holy shit $300. Is it like that everywhere?? When I took my MSF course it was free.

  • @pady999 No I took it at harley davidson and they teach on one of their new 500cc buells. I took it because the instructor was an ex motorcycle cop and I heard good things about him. There are other classes in town some as low as $100. In some places I heard they can be as low as $25! Never heard of free though you got a nice deal.

  • @GibsonElectricI Yea maybe its all of PA.!?

  • Comment removed

  • @root9king Corner speed and momentum, two things I'm learning alot about by riding with my buddies on their dual sports. When riding with these guys on dual sports I actually stay in a higher gear and lug my bike just so I can't use my power as an excuse to make up for my lack of corner speed. You can learn a ton from those bikes.

  • @hinesdeal82291 - Exactly. SO much fun to be had on a light, nimble, single cyl thumper! I'm looking for another KTM Duke come Spring!

  • @root9king 8k per year for full coverage for me (no way in hell I would pay that), but that should say how many people wreck 600's. Thats with a clean record by the way, and yes I'm younger guy.

  • @hinesdeal82291 I'm not sure what you're replying to, but "$8K per year" for full coverage insurance? That's robbery, and no one should pay that. I pay $880 for completely FULL coverage on my '08 R6 through Progressive. That's w/ a clean record and no tix in past 5 years.

  • @root9king You mentioned about how many thrashed 600's were in the junkyard and my insurance just further backs that up. Too many people starting on too much bike. I have been reading your conversation with GibsonElectricl and you brought up the junked 600's Well if kids weren't wrecking them all the time full coverage wouldn't be 8k a year for me lol, just further supports your argument lol.

  • @hinesdeal82291 - I'm still not seeing that comment, but if I said it, I was being facetious to make my point. ;)

  • @root9king PS people like you need to shut the your unexperienced nouths up. Just from the way you talk it sounds like you never rode a bike in your life. All your information sounds like a direct quote from shit you read on the internet. Also just because you werent man enough, or mature enough to start out on an R6 doesnt mean everyone else has to suffer through a 250 like you did. I am sorry that you drop your bikes, but I dont and never will, and some people are just like me.

  • @GibsonElectricI - FYI, I have never owned a 250. My first bike was a 1986 Interceptor 500. I have had more than 14 motorcycles since then, and have been riding (street and track) for more than 28 years. Hold old are you? Still in diapers by the sound of it. How about you post a video of you riding your R6? Let's see how well you ride. Don't forget to remove the training wheels first and scuff-up those chicken strips on the rear tire.

  • @root9king I ride well enough to get myself to and from work 7 miles without getting myself killed or ruining my bike. so what if I have chicken lines on my bike? I dont need to impress you. I am 22 and as I already said only been riding for a year, what I am saying is please stop trying to scare people away from getting what they want. Where did I say that I was valintino rossie and racing in the motogp? I am a responsible rider who stays safe and loves his bike.

  • @root9king I'm no expert but I agree with you completely.

  • I have an 09 R6S, believe me, not a good first bike (is my second). It rails, and like the guys said, get on go fast.... 163mph doesn't take long, although I prefer laying it in the corners nice and tight.

  • nice blond!

  • szuper

  • @ujayboydog Do you ride?

  • i disagree that a 600cc inline four cylinder engine is too extreme for a rookie. if you know how to ride a bicycle, you'll be fine on an R6. No need to be fearful of a 1,000cc engine either. the only problem i would think about is that you will fall occasionally as a new rider. it would be frustrating to scrape up or crack plastic fairing pieces on a new bike. riding a motorcycle is not as difficult as learning to fly an airplane might be.

  • i felt from one r6 yellow with black lol. i kicked my ass

  • HOLY shit hot announcer in the beginning.

  • hi everyone, i have yamaha 2008 american tech, but it wont go more than 130 mph, plus i doesnt movie the way it should-is there limited power? could please some one tell me why it wont go more than 130? are there some things that i should removie or add? how can i make it as fast as the ones that we see on youtube?

  • handling?? what the hell is that dude retarted its the heaviest bike out there and not to mention is wide as a tank...wow. credible? i think not..

  • @randomhero4u69 are you kidding out of the 600's?? this thing isnt the lightest i think the cbr is but the heaviest is the gsxr by far. tank what you talking about its like a normal width . this is a pretty slender bike. but i think the cbr 600 rr is thinner and prob more easier to handle than this. go the r6 power tho :D

  • @Blacksta69 cbr 600rr IMO KILLS the r6, the r6 is overpriced and I have noticed yamaha has if not the worst customer service I have ever encountered in my life, last r6 I had was problematic in every way...cbr is a much much better motorcycle for the most part.....I prefer the Triumph Daytona 675 that is what I currently have and it's an amazing bike.

  • @randomhero4u69 are you fucking crazy?

  • geez u gotta have balls to lean the bike over that far, i dont want to be that close to asfault if im goin to ride

  • I have an 05 r6. though not the same engine, in my opinion this is a great bike to start off with if you are into streetbikes. It is light, and corners good. Its very easy to handle. And to emoneamedia, Don't be a dick. You obviously don't have respect for anybody so stfu.

  • Can I get a decent used bike within 2500 ? im not looking for raw power just a stylish looking street bike.

  • 125 cbr is 2500 bran new

  • @174295 Hey thanks ! I looked at it,and it looks sweet. I just didnt like the rear tire it was too thin. Though im sure I can replace that pretty inexspensively.Plus if it really is 2500 NEW thats just awsome.

  • @174295 Hey one more thing I just started looking to find one and it seems it's only sold in canada/UK or I just not looking in the right places.

  • @174295 i have one, trust me don't buy it, take a used bike instead. at first it's great fun if you've never had a bike before, but soon you will have the NEED to have something more powerful. trust me, don't take it.

  • planning to die? Seriously dude it's not a good first bike, I have an 09 and while you can keep the power down by feeding it gears, its very twichy and turns in real sharp. Clutch is touchy too and the engine revs so freely that you can easly rev it to 10k and drop the clutch without even thinking about it. Start small and actually learn how to ride.

  • come on devin its a grate bike for a nub you love paying more for insurance when they kill there self dont you?

but yea this is a real bad bike for a first bike they are beautiful but they also scare me just looking at them after i get a year or more under my belt i plan on getting one

as a friend said one day this is not a bike its a weapon made to destroy no a toy (quote from super asian)

  • why spend a lot of money on something you don't want. thats my question.

  • @hinesdeal82291

Totally agree with this guy.. I have an 07 and she can be a wicked beast.. If you are partial to Yamaha look for a used YZF-600 to learn on. A new R6 is not a learners bike.

  • @hinesdeal82291 if you arent a natural then sure get a bigginers bike but if you are good at most everything you do in life including riding a bike then 600cc is np

  • @hinesdeal82291 dude I have an 09 too in orange. I dont how you are riding if you think the steering is "twichy". My 09 turns like a dream smooth and accurate the rider is the only thing that can make it twitchy. It is easy to keep it below 10k. Are you serious? you cant hear that engine revving loud as a mother if you rev it to 10k with the clutch in? you need to learn a lot more about your own bike before you give advice. Its a really mellow bike in the low RPMs.

  • @GibsonElectricI All I'm saying is that an inexperienced rider can get into trouble with a bike of that caliber. Yes many can just hop on a 600 and be fine but how many of them can actually ride it? And yes without a damper the R6 IS twichy and I don't know how you ride and judging by what you said I would say you don't often exploit the handling capabilities of the R6. Riding around town and riding the twisties are completely different. And yes the R6 is mellow at lower RPMs I agree there.

  • @hinesdeal82291 - Thank you....Exactly. We shouldn't hand a gun to a 10 year old without showing him how to use it properly and respect the damage it could possibly inflict. Same goes for motorcycles. Scotts steering dampener....great product!

  • @hinesdeal82291 sorry but I got more to say. You actually think that redlining even a 250 and popping the clutch is ok? This isnt a beginners mistake that is plain stupidity. If you can not control the throttle enough to not rev the motor to the boint of blowing up just to get going you need to buy a car instead. That is plain irresponsible bike riding to think you can do that with any bike and get away with it. I am a level headed adult who respects his bike and I learned to ride just fine

  • @GibsonElectricI I never said redlining anything and popping the clutch was okay, it's just that many beginner make that mistake and a 250 would be much more forgiving than a 600. Guess about %70 of beginners are plain stupid. I too am a level headed adult and I myself learned how to ride just fine. I also researched and studied before I ever got on a bike, many do not. Do you like chicken strips?

  • Comment removed

  • @hinesdeal82291 I started on a 03 R1 and I was Clutch wheeling 4 months into riding at the age of 17, I just turned 19 and bought a R6 just so I can actually lean the bike out when riding instead of reaching 220kph in 4th by casually twisting my wrist and inch or two! Honestly the thing you have to remember when learning to ride is that what you do wit your right hand is directly related to the rear wheel, so don't think your smarter then the bike. Treat it with respect and ease into it.

  • @hinesdeal82291 I couldn't agree more. The Ninja 250 is the way to go. Or a small dual sport if you are into those. I have one plus a Ninja 500. Even that 500 is not too shabby. It will still beat at least 99% of all the cars you'll pull up next to at a stoplight from zero to sixty.

  • @kj7687 And it will do a solid 140 mph. At that speed, you'll already get your bike impounded and your license suspended and have an 800 dollar ticket, and they might just throw you in jail for a spell to boot. And yes, I know all this from experience...

  • @hinesdeal82291 I rode an 80cc scooter for a year, then a ninja 250 for a year (still riding), do think it would be safe to get an r6 at this point?

  • @dreyes288 I started on a scooter then went to the ninja 250 just like you. I got a gs 550l which is a inline 4 cruiser and I thought that thing was fast as hell for what I was used to. The R6 isn't just fast...It's very aggressive and honestly it's really not that fun to ride unless you know how to tear it up in the corners. I would evaluate what you want your bike for before deciding on what to get.

  • @hinesdeal82291 ive been riding a drz-400 for 6 years, a 125 suzuki for 4 years before that, thinkin about jumping it up to a street bike, i can sling that drz400 pretty damn well, would a r6 be too much?

  • @snowyphil65 Nope you have experience and I ride with a guy that is faster on his drz than he is a sportbike. The R6 is just a much different machine and requires a different approach as do all bikes. What are you planning to do with the R6 if you did buy it?

  • @hinesdeal82291 i learned on a 06 r1, i put about thirty miles on it, then bought a 09 r6. never road anything but a quad before. i put about 2500 miles on it as of now. and i feel if i had gotten anything smaller i would already be bored. the R6 will keep me entertained for years to come :D

  • @hinesdeal82291 At what point would one switch to an r6 in your opinion then.

  • @bendystix Depends how you ride and what your coming from. Anyone can start on anything really but what's the point of starting on something big/high tech and not being able to ride it worth a damn. I know a guy on a freaking KLR650 that can woop my ass in the turns these days. It makes me look like a damn fool on a high end 600 getting wooped by a 30 hp single dirt bike basically. It's not about the bike it's about the skill and if you move up too quick you will miss out on improving skill.

  • @hinesdeal82291 I have rode a little 100 for days worth of time out on the farm back when I was 11-15, so I understand balance and technique quite well from that. Now being 17 and just getting my license I have been driving my dads 750 seca and maxim for the last few weeks. I definitely would not consider myself good, but growing up driving vehicles and for wheelers has given me alot of experience most people don't have. I'm interested in buying a sport bike, probably would be a older r6 tho.

  • @hinesdeal82291 like 2002-2006, do you think they are still a nice bike that will last awhile?

  • @hinesdeal82291 I had an 08 and it was my first bike, if you drive with your mind on the bike there is no way you kill yourself riding one of those. I definitely didn't drive a lot motorcycles yet but the 08 was the safest i did so far.

  • @ultul1 and yes there are people that will start out on something extreme and be fine.. Realize though that there is a huge difference between being able to ride the bike from A to B and actually being able to control and operate that sort of bike in the way it was intended. I whooped a dude on a liter bike on a 250 in my early days of riding...This dude could "ride" a 1000 but he couldn't do anything more with it. Learning curve is steep if you hop on a supersport.

  • @hinesdeal82291 i fully agree with you, though even if it is a waste but do you really need to be able to handle a bike to its fully extend when your not driving on the track? i mean the bike offers a lot of advantages i can enjoy even if i don't drive with 150 mph and the knee on the ground, especially not on the street. so imo if you want to be able to ride this bike like it should practice and use it only on the race track, because in daily life all you need is to go grom a to b.

    no offence

  • @ultul1 You're right you don't need to be able to handle the bike to it's full potential on the street, well that's really impossible to do on the street and live. I guess what I mean is that I see too many people riding around on supersports and they can't do anything more with the bike than pin the throttle in a straight line. I will be the first to tell you that I can't even come close to using my R6 to it's limits. I very rarely even find an opportunity to use my slipper clutch.

  • i own a 2001 yamaha yzf r6 amazing bike hands down its so fast 123456 itll blow your mind everytime you ride it ....

  • i got a 04 R6 =D

  • And at 1:47, you can easily see the 848 the use when they get bored of the empty engine of the R6 which doesn't kick under 10000 rpm.

But fortunately, it goes 18000... how lucky ! :D

  • Hey guys, my Formula SAE team at my school is thinking about using an '09 YZF R6 engine for our Formula SAE racecar. Has anybody here has any reliability issues with the engine?

  • The 09 R6 engine is rock solid. 3k miles of hard riding on mine and it hasn't skipped a beat. My favorite thing about that engine is that you don't even need a valve check until 26k miles!

  • I have an 06 gsxr 1000 and an 06 gsxr 750 track bike, they have 16.6k miles and 24.7k miles and neither one has skipped a beat. 3k miles on your R1 dude? .....its just getting broken in. 5k and on is where you really get the grunt....hang on dude cause you are about to start really getting the ride of your life. ;-)

  • Amazing bike!

Planning to get one after I graduate

  • Same here!

  • OMG, what a sounds on Yamaha!!

  • benelli tnt cafe racer the best

  • its just not selling very well and too much r6 in the stock thats the purpose of producing another 2008 r6 commercial haaahee they should have made it a bit higher than that if it was i would've bought one . . .

  • all bikes are good, i prefer da 2008 r1. i have a yamaha yzf r6 n its badder than u know. A BIKE IS ONLY AS GOOD AS THE RIDER ON IT. ANYBODY CAN STUNT ANY BIKE. IT JUST TAKES TIME N CAJONES,

  • wow, why didnt they mention its weak low and midrange

  • from all 600cc superbikes i'd rather the cbr600rr.

  • nice bike

  • r6 or gsxr600?? what's better??

  • gsxr600 ;)

  • I don't care which one is fastest just which one is more failure free?? I know yamaha is better quality but is it more failure free then suzuki motors??

  • stronger is the r6,go with the one you like .

  • Out of all the brands(Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki and, Suzuki), which one makes the fastest bikes? An answer will be appreciated!

    Thanks. ;-)

  • silly question really, none of them makes the most powerful but at the moment kawaski make the most powerful 600 and thousand, suzuki have the most powerful bike with the hayabusa. but then each year it changes really, they're all so close performance wise you cant really tell just comes down to personal preference

  • Oh, ok.. Well, I don't really know much about bikes but, tryong to learn...and, me and, my bros. were having a convo. about, which brand makes the fastest bike. One of them claims Honda is the fastest...while, the other claims Suzuki is the fastest.

  • I see. Typlical brand banter that everyone does. They are all incredibly fast and within whiskers of eachother, but kawasaki make the most powerful at the moment, although this will probably change very soon and I wouldnt say that kawasaki make the 'best' despite being the fastest. All about which one you like most

  • Ok.. Kawasaki it is then. I've also heard that, Yamahas are badass too! ;-)

  • dude i know alot about bikes as what steady2wheels is saying is true there only a hair away in performance now your going to get those ppl that will tell u blah blah blah this is better no this etc its really whatever you like though my personal perference is honda cbrs and yamaha r6 r1 if you have any more questions just ask me !!!!

  • Lol.. Ok.. No doubt bro.. I'll keep that in mind.

  • yes i got your message and they are correct the yamaha is the best on the tracks due to its amazing control and cornering ability far as lap times but again like i said they are all very close in performance

  • So, basically..., it's all about bragging rights when, it comes to battling of different brands...although, neither really perform better than, the other.

  • lol you could say that cuz it is part of it another thimg is people have their own perference so if you would ask someone who is a kawisaki fan they might say oh kawis are the best when its not all true see another thing is ppl try to compare these professionals to regular ppl on their bikes but if youd ask an honest pro he would tell you the same its all what you like cuz performance is so close if i were you i wouldnt get a bike just cuz some 1 told me 2 unless you actually like it alot

  • That's true. I can respect that. I don't understand why, some people are giving you dumbs down, on your comment?! Smh..

  • and anther thing is they do perform difrent from each other its just such a slight diffrence that it doesnt matter its what you like but right now kawisaki is making the fastest ones i beleve dude but seriously whats 1 or 2 or even 5 more mph and a fraction of a second gonna make esp on the street it when it comes to performance it really all depends on the rider

  • wow lol a thumbs down already to the ppl who like to thumbs down ppl on the web plz stay to yourself cuz most likely yall are the ones who have no bikes !!!!

  • True!

  • I just ask cuz i wouldn´t want to look arkward or weird riding it.

Also how does the lowering afect the bike?

  • well don't get a bike like this to look cool. thats why all of our insurance goes up haha. go race it at a track, man. that would be awesome.

  • How tall you have to be to ride a bike like this¿ I´m 5´ 6´´ and a half by the way

  • i have the 2008 r6 and ive riden other bikes i would go with the gsxr 1000 to be honest or the zx10, oh and buddy u can always get the bike lowerd lol

  • your tall enough, dont worry. just try lowering the bike if u cant reach the pavement

  • well i am 5'7 and i am on the balls of my feet on my 2000. the new r6 have a ride height of 33.8 which is really high. so i might be on my tippy toes with that bike.

  • the bikes is the best there is its 600cc with 135 ps the r 1 is 150 ps so r6 better :)

  • definately made my choice after this vid. R6 > GSXR600

  • coooooooooooooooolllllllllll

  • R6 - 711 BHP

  • Lol on topgear there was a toyota called the soul and the made the r version, get it rsoul!

    (asshole)

  • what the fuck do you talk about?

  • In England they say arse instead of ass, and arse hole instead of asshole; so if you say it out loud, r-soul sounds like arse hole (kinda like Mike Hunt and my cunt).

    Crazy Queen-worshipers, lol.

  • Leave our Great Queen out of this.
