I saw this on tour back in November. By the time the show was over and they were doing curtain call, I was so excited that I had forgotten there was one more number... And then they got the audience clapping and I remembered. XD

And when Donkey came out, they had the girl who sang the part of Dragon come out with him. I thought that was sweet :D

@rawshaark They were. It probably would have been hard to hear with the wind and the screaming and the motors and floats and speakers would be hard to carry and hook up for instruments and mics, so they probably just had everyone lip sync.

Okay, they did Freak Flag for EVERY SINGLE performance. This is the song that everyone knows from Shrek. This was a great performance and I'm glad they did it. Great show too.

Back where? Not to Broadway anytime in the near future!!! Shows have Bway casts and Touring casts simultaniously (Wicked, Jersey Boys, In the Heights etc.) Shrek is leaving Bway b/c it's not making enough money.

yes for most of them but those are the most popular ones, the new beginning ones are on Broadway for about a year, then they go on tour and then go back.

I'm sorry but you are mistaken...name one example of what you are talking about. Sure original bway actors go on tour with their shows (Bob Martin did US Tour of Drowsy Chaperone, Ashley Brown is doing Mary Poppins Tour now) but the Broadway cast does not leave broadway to tour and return. I don't see Brian D"Arcy or Sutton ever touring again.

This was awesome. I love this musical. I haven't seen it yet, but the music is incredible. I sang Who I'd Be for a state competition and advanced on to nationals.

I can't wait till the tour comes to my town next fall!
