When I see that the riot squad has deployed to my area, I recognize - IMMEDIATELY - that they may use force. I'm not a big fan of force, at least not used against ME, so I go elsewhere.

No I simply asked why she was there in the first place. I mean if I walk along a quite road and then walk on a highway theres alot more risk of me dying if I walk on the highway. If she chose to join a massive riot/crowd then that was a bad decision on her behalf. I don't think what the police did was right but its not 100% their fault.
It was 100% their fault. The Police commissioner accepted full responsibility. The crowd she was in was peaceful, there was no cause to fire anything in her direction.

She was just in the wrong place and the wrong time, and the police should be WAY more careful when using weapons, but its not like they wanted to kill her...
