  • I never said she was one of them, asshat. She'd be alive if drunk assholes knew how to maintain themselves after a fucking BASEBALL GAME.

  • @RationalBullets sometimes you have to be brutal when a bunch of drunk asswipes are causing property damage which winds up costing everybody but the idiots involved. You, sir, are an idiot.

  • you know who I blame? the assholes who got out of hand...the drunk fools who flip cars, climb poles and cause the problems. They didn't have to shoot at all, but put the blame on the morons who drink too much and act like assholes. RIP Victoria.

  • Rest in Peace Torie Snelgrove. I live in East Bridgewater and I go to the Gordon W. Mitchell Middle School. Around 2007 and 2008, a playground was built in her memory. Just thought I would give a little information. Best Wishes to the Snelgrove Family.

  • this is horrible...

why cant some people just behave...the actions of others may affect the ones innocent the ambulance could not get in coz the crowd was holding them...

  • oh maybe iran should invade us since our police kill defenceless women....dud da dud daa...

  • wtf???!!! no spaces??? hahaha

  • Funny, it's called a Red Sox riot by every other source I read. If my memory serves, any member of the mob is proportionately guilty for the jeopardy the mob places the general public in.

I noticed a picture of the riot squad in the montage.

When I see that the riot squad has deployed to my area, I recognize - IMMEDIATELY - that they may use force. I'm not a big fan of force, at least not used against ME, so I go elsewhere.

  • Hi audrey, very sorry for torie- RIP. You should know that these guys disabled the audio of your video, try using another song, take care

  • I remember hearing about this four years ago. Even though I never knew her, it just broke my heart hearing that something like this happened to an innocent person for NO reason at all.

I am truly sorry about your step-cousin. It must be around the same time that it happened, because I remember when the championships ended sometime in late October. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.

  • RIP

  • No I simply asked why she was there in the first place. I mean if I walk along a quite road and then walk on a highway theres alot more risk of me dying if I walk on the highway. If she chose to join a massive riot/crowd then that was a bad decision on her behalf. I don't think what the police did was right but its not 100% their fault.

  • It was 100% their fault. The Police commissioner accepted full responsibility. The crowd she was in was peaceful, there was no cause to fire anything in her direction.

  • just so everybody knows-there was absolutely no intent to kill from the police, in fact, they shot a rubber bullet that is only meant to inflict pain and had it hit her anywhere else. She was just in the wrong place and the wrong time, and the police should be WAY more careful when using weapons, but its not like they wanted to kill her...

  • Fuck you, they aimed and fired a weapon at her face. Think what the police would do to you if you fired a weapon at someone and they died "by accident".

  • they didn't "aim it into her face", they shot a pepper spray bullet into the crowd, which, like I said, was obviously a really stupid thing to do but the officer wasn't "aiming at her face" in fact he was a long ways away and shot into the crowd from long range-it was a retarded move, but it was still an accident

  • "However, video from the scene where Snelgrove was struck showed the crowd in a joyous mood, slapping high fives and chanting celebratory Red Sox slogans. There were no signs of near-riotous conditions in that immediate vicinity although the area was crowded, and dozens of people near her stopped celebrating when they realized the severity of her injury and they tried to get help." CNN Oct. 22 2004

  • It wasn't just a "retarded" move, it was vicious. Perhaps you need to observe the police first hand in a situation like this, to understand what I mean.

  • question: why was she there in the riot/crowd ?

  • Yes, if you are in Boston never have fun, remember that.

Don;t even try. ever. The celebration should ahev been indoors, the city doesn't like anything else.

She was NOT killed accidentally! She was killed due to bad policy and incompetence. Did these cops get trained on the lethality of these guns?

  • fuck the police
