  • God Save The Queen from Sweden!!

  • Do these Guards got better training than (british) elite army troops?

  • @TheRomanRuler They undertake exactly the sme training and carry out the same duties as all other soldiers..

  • @grooverheliboy okey

  • soo proud of my dad that my father was piper in scots guards ;)

  • @Talbot6832 I've met the lads of the Pipes and Drums of the 1st Battalion, the men in this video, and spoke with Cpl. Monkhouse who for his bravery was awarded the military cross. Being Scottish seeing the Scots Guards troop their Colour gives me immense pride, a sense of pride no other regiment of Foot Guards comes close to providing.

  • What's all the yelling about?

  • That´s funny, Nijmegen company, Nijmegen is the town I live in. Must have been named after the battle they fought over there in WW2

  • Scots Guards are the best regiment of Foot Guards.

  • @Delta5FlyD Bollocks, the Coldstream Guards are.

  • Diana. The Princess Of Wales is first on our thought when the Cambodian speak of the Brits. The Cambodian loved her dearly. The Brits may have forgotten her,but the Cambodian still grieved over her passing. She was beautiful,an absolute angel. The Cambodian cared a world of " Shy Di ".Could you be so kind to tell me the date of " Shy Di " birth ? For the love of a Princess. The Cambodian wished to throw a party in her honor.

  • How old would Diana be had she live ?

  • @SithSereyPheap1 Who cares about her!

  • Head up chest out time.god bless Great Britain and all the military personnel from all nations who serve her, respect to you all!

  • Such a glorious event without the present of Diana The Princess of Wales. It's unthinkable to the Cambodian. The Cambodian people loved Diana dearly...

  • @SithSereyPheap1 As this ceromony is for the Queens BIRTHDAY It has nothing to do with Diana !

  • WoW! Thank you for uploading this! Hurray for the Scots Guards :)

  • @MinisterAilingTongue Britain's Empire was lost in 1947. The days of small countries like Britain punching 200x above their weight were over.

  • @jorgemir27 liberated who!! You dumb ignorant fool....why is it that Americans have a twisted take on history and their imporatnce in it.

(flash to bang)...let me educate you...The Germans never invaded the UK. They gave up on that idea after the Battle of Britain. The next time b4 you commit those dumb thoughts of your's to posts at least do a bit of research.

  • @davevak

One finds the lack of educated minds on the subject of war, very disturbing!

    jorgemir27 is one of those...

  • @jorgemir27 Battle of Britain: 10th July - 31st October 1940

America FINALLY joins the war: 7th December 1941. In the meantime, we'd already been fighting for over 2 years, and making a bloody good job of it.

  • This year (2011), the First Battalion Scots Guards provides the Escort to the Colour.

It is the first time since 1988 that all Regiments of the Household Division are represented: The Scots Guards, Welsh Guards, Grenadier Guards, Coldstream Guards and Irish Guards, the Household Cavalry, and the London Regiment.

in 2012, the First Battalion Coldstream Guards will provide the Escort to the Colour. It is also a special event marking HRH Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee.

    Hip Hip Hurray!
