Montgomery County has the lowest property taxes in the entire state. That is one of the reasons they are the wealthiest county in the state. Prince Georges dosen't have the Feds for its entire economy. No it has the state Government and tourism.

Also Western Maryland almost elected all Republicans to represent the people in Annapolis for the first time. The GOP controls county offices in 15 out of 24. The Republicans if the momentem keeps up will be getting almost majority power in the next state elections. I don't get how Prince Georges county rather keep electing the same clowns for county office.

It took me two days to really get over it. I was crushed that night when the results came in. And get this: I am pro-business Dem that voted for Bob! OWE Malley is the most anti-business governor in the country, hands down. And what about all the voter fraud?. Im sure of illegals vote in PG and Montgomery counties. I am sick of the Democratic Socialist party, so I will be becoming a independent soon. Andy Harris was the only good news MD had that night.

It must be heartbreaking to see your hometown go to crap. It's the same in lots of other blue cities in blue states. Every year it gets worse yet people keep re-electing the same lefties over and over again, thinking they're gonna get their something for free.

@TonyN737 It absolutely is heartbreaking, but what does that say about our side if lefties are able to occupy all the power in whole parts of states? Isn't that sort of acknowledging that they are superior to us? More devoted in promoting their cause? Aren't we the hard working self sufficient ones? So shouldn't we be able to outdo them any time, anywhere?

@RevolutionOfCG Absolutely, there are some who will never stray from voting Democrat because they like the name or sound of it and their parents drilled it into their heads. My parents are living proof though that people can change. They both used to vote only democrat, but they haven't voted democrat since 1988. The problem is the result this year represents a substantial decline in 4 years. If we abandon whole parts of states, then whole states, you really reduce your chance of winning.
