  • T-800: It's Judgement Day Me: Yeah Right 17 Years Later...... AHHHHHH HE'S RIGHT!!!!

  • When the hell is this getting released on a classic collection!?

  • ha me and my dad would ALWAYS play the first stage at the movies.. I just got a little tear in my eye :')

  • Why does it say you terminated 4 ground HKs? There was only 1.

  • The truck part was easy if you had enough coins, you just had to keep shooting the HKs and not worry about the running Endoskeletons, or two player. One could shoot the HKs and the other ahot everything else.

  • I don't know you guys, but this game used to be too real for me in the 90's, even more if you used to be an hallucinate kid like me @_@ in fact, I think this game had very advanced graphics for its time.....shit!! Skynet!!! sent it Through the time!

  • the resistance are hardly any help

  • @Mr523cbg i have always wondered, if you don't fire for a bit, will their bullets and grenades kill the machines?

  • @able2ful1 they do not kill the machines. in my opinion i think there in the game for show & also to make the game a little more harder to gain points if you kill the resistance member you lose points it will show up as a casualty after clearing the stage

  • omg you are good!!! I sucked at this game in the arcades

  • It was always too fucking hard not to hit the people in the front... Man did this game ever suck (but I still loved it at the time regardless, lol)

Once u get to the part you have to protect the truck, it just gets retardedly hard

  • Wow, Hell froze over if the arcade version of this game has a sub-par audio clip of Ahnold's voice-over. The Genesis version at least resembled Arnold's voice.

  • Hasta La Vista Baby!

  • Human soldiers and Slippy. What do they have in common? They both screamed "No!" in high pitched voices.

  • LOL Me and a friend wasted so much money on this crap back then to play it fully through :D

  • You know, looking back, this is still a very good game. Its easy to play, just point and shoot, but like new games today, if you keep shooting you run down your gun, so you need to lay off the trigger and get some goodie upgrades in the crates. All kinds of weapons upgrades. The game is really challenging as time goes on, different enemies and more difficult targets. The sound effects and locations are incredible. Especially when you get to skynet and go back in time. Fucking awesome game!!!!

  • Relentless game in the style of Operation Wolf/Thunderbolt. Must have been a brilliant experience when it first came out in the arcades with the handgun joysticks.

They sure made a lot of Arnold clones at Cyberdyne lol

  • wow your comrades actually do something unlike the gamegear version

  • lol??? " Allright! " *7 golden terminators fall beside each other* " uhhhhhh.... fuck "

  • i hated the background walls, and also when you were out of rockets and the terminators are throwing nades at you

  • hasta-la-vesta,... baby....

  • Oh my gosh! This game and rail shooters like this were the shit back in the 90's! :)

  • There is one working one in an arcade in the isle of Wight. I still managed to plough £30 into it just for the fun of it still!!!

  • It's Judgement Day....Lets GO!!!!!!!!, holy shit that looks 10x better than the Mega drive version, wish my MAME version would do that :(, mine's stuck in on spot and won't move T_T

  • Made of awesome!

  • I must have spent at least $1000 in that game :)

  • I remember this, how I miss the old days, when I played this.

  • Just like NARC lol

  • What's funny when the number of Series 800 you got rid of in level 2, it was 101. That is of course the number of Cyberdyne Model the Series 800 is part. :)

  • WHERE CAN I GET THIS GAME!?

  • download MAME emulator and the game.. its excactly the same as the arcade

  • @Fckstyre It totally isnt, the arcade version is so mutch better, i got to find a machine right

  • The guns on the arcade cabinet used to static shock me all the time

  • 5 soldiers dislike this that you shoot them by accident. "NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!".

  • Five people couldn't press start to play

  • Comment removed

  • This game was bad ass. I remember being stuck on the part where you have to protect that truck. Almost spent two dollars worth in quarters on it.

  • 5 people where Terminated

  • @KIMBOSLICE66666 now 8....

  • Since when did they have gold terminators?

  • This movie and game was such a big deal when it came out. like 91 or something. Wow. Still kicks ass

  • This movie and game was such a big deal when it came out. like 91 or something. Wow

  • i was RAPING at this game.

  • do your "comrades" actually kill anything??

  • You did your best!?!?!?!...

LOL, doing your best is trying to go as far as you can with one credit, you died 5 minutes into the game 5:22...did your best, don't make me laugh.

  • @mitrooper

Everyone's best varies with everything. Like in your case, I'm sure when you do your best at being an asshole, you excel higher than most people because you seem to be pretty good at it.

  • omg dis is the one I"m looking 4 :O

  • When the hell is Midway gonna put this out for the home systems? I`m ready to buy the damn arcade machine!

  • uh NO!

  • first time I played and came to that big robot, I got into a hell of a panic, remenbering the movie where the big robot was almost impossible to destroy. You dont know how proud I felt when I destroyed it!

  • NOSTALGIA BLAST!!

  • MAME saving games from being extinct!!!! Already 100's have been lost forever.

  • This game looks very lame, all you do is move the cross hair on enemies and fire away. Very very repetitive

  • @wargod700 If you grew up in the 80's or 90's like I did and you went to an arcade this was the first game you would play This is one of the best arcade shooter games ever ahead of its time nothing is lame about it

  • @merciless41582 You got that right my friend!

  • @wargod700 This version does not seem to be the actual arcade version due to the crosshair.

This was originally for Arcade machines and was played with big ol' plastic light guns.

That said, arcade shooters have come on in leaps and bounds since this game, it was groundbreaking at the time but there are a lot of static environments with only a set few enemies that repeat the same attack patterns over and over.

  • @IdoMuffin no the arcade did have crosshairs

  • i love the sound the rockets make!!

  • what are the buildings in the background? stonehenge?

  • is there a way to download this game, and play it with the mouse?

if yes, please can you guys pass me a torrent or a download link?

i miss this game sooo much..didn't play it since 1996 :(

  • @Starvoid7 Yes man, try: " term2.zip " in google and the first page should do it. I think you need "mame" for it to run...

  • I wish this game was ported correctly to the home consoles. The Genesis version had the sound but not the graphics, the SNES vise versa. The Saturn would have handled this game like how it did for Revolution X.

  • Does anyone know how the endoskeletons get their cybernetic " human" flesh? This was never bought up in all 4 Terminator movies Also the Endoskeletons in the movies never threw pipe bombs

  • @merciless41582 They grew flesh in vats, using DNA and clones, DNA was manipulated around the Endo.

  • You totally raped this game's first two levels.

  • omg i lot a looooooooooooooooott of money with this game... was like a drug... i was in highschool .. amazing :(

  • I think I pumped so many quarters into this game back in the day that I could have bought the whole damn machine instead and came out ahead.

  • I remember back in 1991 when the game first came out. I remember a good group crowding around when someone managed to get past the truck/hk level and reach skynet. It blew me away at the time as skynet or its complex wasn't shown in the first two movies and how most of the gameplay took place in the future as opposed to the movie. I'm not sure if it was this game or the movies that got me to be a big fan, lol. Can't believe this was nealy 20 years ago, damn...

  • the mega drive version lookz so much betta becoz the terminaters blend in wiv the background (dey dont look like they're paper cuts outs moving across the screen like dis 1)

  • is this game good cause i saw it for sale for $200

  • @Spilia4 where?

  • I like it when you shoot your friends in the back.

    "ugh!"

    "NO!"

  • to play this game download mame 32 and download the terminator 2 rom from a rom website

  • this game is awesome! i just came back from las vegas and they had this game at circus circus! just playing it brought back the good old times

  • I am so ashamed I made trips to the arcade and spent hours playing this

  • Classic Game, takes me back to the early mid 90s

  • I said if there was ever to be a Midway Arcade Treasures 4, this as well as Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, Mortal Kombat 4, Killer Instinct and Killer Instinct 2 should be on it.

I'm pretty sure Midway made this game (when Scorpion falls into the lava in MK Shaolin Monks, he does a thumbs up) as well as the KI games (you see a KI arcade machine in the MK3 behind the scenes video).

  • Just as I remember it....very frantic, not a lot of variety...

  • Hasta la "WOOF", baby

  • Gotta love how it takes one shot to take out a Terminator at range, but four or five to destroy the ones in your face.

Incidentally, any tips on getting the sight to work accurately in MAME? I was never able to get it working correctly. Thanks.

  • This brings back childhood memories. I remember when I could barely see the screen since I was so small, I had to get a stool or chair somewhere. Thx for uploading this.

  • Any game made by Midway is fucking epic and great

  • i want the machine!!

  • hi folks how can i play this game on mame,i can't controll the game, and i can't see the crosshair!

  • man i remember living in LA and going to the local bowling alley as a kid just to play this game. my first rated R movie as a kid. thanks for the upload.

  • does this arcade game still appears today in other arcade places cuz in mass i never seen one

  • great memories, i want to hold that arcade gun attached to the machine and play this game again lol

  • It cost me £5.00 (about $10.00) to beat this back in '94.

    Man, what a game.

  • thumbs up if you think the new movie is crap.

  • where are you playing this on? arcade? MAME? SNES?

  • nice shat!

  • for some wierd reason this game wont aim on mame emulator anyone know why?

  • thanks for the upload, great game, great playing, i loved this game back in the day... too bad there's not been another terminator light gun being made, with aliens extinction game out a few years ago, it's past time to make a new terminator lightgun game, come on, do eeeet

  • The intro in this video says that 3 Billion Human Lives ended.

    I have a question.

Why did John Connor, from Terminator Salvation, say that humans are on the brink of extinction when in fact there are still 4 Billion People living on Earth? The way he said it sounds like there's only 1 Billion or less. Anyone notice that? It sounds strange.

I'll appreciate it if someone has an explanation.

  • That many people died on judgement day, the rest were killed later on.

  • @priestjc Oh really? I don't think so. That's too quick if you ask me.

  • this looks awesome is it available as a download anywhere?

  • even more so, i hated the one where ur protecting the swat van from the bigass helicopter. u got hit like once, and u were dead!!!!

  • @johnthefawn its not a helicopter man its an HK flying HK

  • im thinkin of gettin this for my old snes. would any of you guys recommend it?

  • I wouldnt arcade is just way better

  • Please port this to the Wii's VC Nintendo

  • u know wat i hated most, the level where u had to protet the truck from all of the freakin terminators!!!!!!!!!

  • @johnthefawn THAT USED TO PISS ME OFF!!!

  • Takes me back to 1991-1992 in the Arcades! Remember the phrase "Get The CPU" in this game?! That's what it would say when you shot them in the head! Great memories!

  • I remember becoming so scared of the terminators as boy that I left the game running while I was still alive! Last time I played this classic was when T3 came out, I always screw up on the third level and get john killed. :(

  • those 4 people aren't even doing anything! Get out of the way :D

  • This game is one of the best memories ever. My arcade don't have this game anymore. :( But I would love to play this game again.

  • OMG FLASH BACKS

I needed like 5 red tokens to beat this game at DJs arcade

  • i used to spent 100dollars to finish the game

  • LOL me too MAD TOKENS!!!! It was so hard

  • haha hardcore!

  • I hated the gold terminators

  • This game is hard as hell. A real coin eater.

  • Is this the snes - super nintendo version ???

  • arcade version, thats from from a Videogame hall

  • Thanks.

  • i remember playing this game at a hall party, pretty fun.

  • Classic game, I used to play this plenty of times when I used to go to the arcades. One of my favorite classic shooting games.

  • @AsicsRunner79 And also one of the hardest.

  • LOL 101 T-800's were killed.

  • Why do the ones far away take only one shot to kill, but the closer ones take alot more?

  • don't ask me! Skynet made them!

  • I could never survive more than a few minutes, always such a clustermuck of a game

  • Get the CPU!

  • I hate the sound when you shoot the soilders

  • Ugh, NO!

  • there are many versions of this game but only the arcade version is the real deal

  • yeah i got the one on snes. its not as good as the arcade cuz you dont have the gun of course but its still pretty fun

  • The levels where ya gotta save the moving vehicles from the baddies....can be tricky. :P

  • Love this game! T2 was the best of the Terminator games.

  • the best shooting noise

  • LoL - Das Spiel war eigentlich sowas von schlecht ^^. Aber damals wars cool vor allem mit den 2 UZIs in der Spielhalle ;-D

  • i've only seen the end part of this game played in the arcade once and i knew the guys who played it must've blown a boat load of coins on this. super hard.

  • God, I remember how hard this game was alone. It's no fun without someone to help out. I'm yet to calibrate the cursor lol. I loved this game before Time Crisis came out and such lol. Best gun game. Thanks for posting.

  • god your good i'd suck at this game!

  • at 9:57 does John Connor say, "HK's! We're toast!" or "HK's! Look Out!" ? or?

  • In the megadrive/genesis version, it was "HK's incomming, move out!"

    I think it's HK's, move out!

  • Has anyone tried this game on CoinOPS?

  • on page 11 esetorsido helped me out

    word

  • they're pissed off

  • I downloaded this game to my pc but I had no controls.

  • wow, California 2012, Arnold's dream vision!

  • G HK is for Ground hunter killer

  • How did you get this game to play on your PC or game system?

  • Where can I download the original arcade version? I'm sick of getting console ports.

  • you can play it in mame Mamedev(dot)org to get the emulator. then go to google and type

    mame roms

    roms world

    rom nation

    cool roms

    download it from there

  • mame romnation emulator plus rom!!

  • did any1 ever beat this game???? XD

  • yes.. with like 5 continues. or more

    well at least me...

is an arcade game. ..is made to kill your ass quick ..to expend quarters , and emulated it maintain his difficulty...

  • right here.

  • raises hand :D not after about 4 bucks worth lol

  • The reason why there weren't a million t-600's was because Skynet wasn't really interested in Los Angeles.

  • This is why we would lose against robots, we need 20+ years to make a soldier, they need 1 hour. :P

  • actually, fuck an hour, more like 18 seconds.

  • This game was EVERYWHERE in the early '90s. It even made a cameo appearance in the movie Crumb.

  • man this bring back memories, bad ass ones too

  • This is the only way to play Terminator.

  • Man... I remember this game, it was awesome XD

  • My friends big bro used to manage an arcade so he gave us unlimited credits to play this and we never got past the level where you have to defend the dude in the jeep.

    Haaaard game.

  • a verry difficult game indeed. Back in the day when I saw this arcade machine of terminator I didn't wanted to play because of the difficulty but it was awesome with the two guns shooting :)

  • now this version was the shit.. the genesis sucks and the SNES sucks harder

  • i had the chance to play it and didn't do. i could bite me in my ass

  • lol @ 0:51 "NO!"

Definitely one of my favourite arcade games from way-back-when. So tech-noir.

  • this is how i thought the new terminator salvation film was gonna be, with armies of terminators all over the place. instead we got a random t-600 here and there.

  • I think it's a safe bet T5 will be like this; T4 was basically an introduction to the new trilogy.

  • i love Midway.

  • I'm thinking... Wii port.

  • although its just mindless shooting ... its one of the best in its genre i think.

so satisfying just to blow the living shit out of everything you see

  • How about a stupid question. Why did all the T-800 models looked like the same person (Arnold Scharwzennegger)? Wouldn't that make their infiltration into a human camp almost impossible once you have seen one of the (disguised as human Arnold) T-800 models?!?!!?

  • 6:54 to 9:18.

    OMG, so many arnolds!

  • oh and if your wondering why they all look like arnold, model 101s are based off of arnold. Model determiens what the infiltrators are supposed to look like, series is what type of terminator they are.

  • I think the ground HK is my favorite robot in the Terminator franchise.

  • I always thought the ground hk looked like the nintendo robot

  • love how the endos ignore the other rebels completely :)))) classic game
