Funnily enough uploader I was lucky with the African I kept mid spring 2009- early spring 2010. That one was " friendly" and easy enough. In fact I had to help them by hand with their final adult moult. It's really sad when a mantid dies isn't it, when you only have a few ?
Easy to bond with one that's docile. They just turn round suddenly and stare at you lol
@Noodles37UK Yes it's really sad when they die on you. They are such docile creatures and you totally bond with them. Some species are more docile than others.. some of them just seem to hate everything and everyone around them. LOL
@Noodles37UK Actually, I think the Budwing Mantis is the one that hates me the most.. hahaha.. it will flair up even though I am across the room and nowhere near it

Yeah I read of a big Chinese type that was aggressive.
