  • look at 1:20 right at the big flame i always expect it to shoot across the track at like light speed becose anything that has a flame that big should fly fast and i didnt expect the fire to be so small at 2:31 and on

  • the roof....the roof....the roof is on fire!

  • i like how he lights up all the fuel in the back to make bigger blast

  • its a drag track man, drag tracks are public a regular drag car is just as volitile have you seen when they loose it a flip through crowds and shit, so my call is flames jet cars compared to exploding funny cars flipping through crowds one in the same, both as volitile, its going to an airshow all it takes is one fuck up and a plane crashes into the crowd, p.s. if there's a ton of people there technically its a public track

  • hmm something equivalent to bob motz's truck has that ge-J-79 low whistling sound to it

  • awesome video!

  • U left me a message asking if a 3 cell battery will work fine on a losi stock lst esc. yes it will work perfectly fine just make some cutting on ur plastic body so ur esc gets ventilation and also so u can easily touch it while running to monitor how hot the esc gets. my 3 cell is 11.1volts so u know also

  • w00t!!! shockwave!!

  • He was too fast for you to even keep up with!

  • fkn hell that was amazing!

  • fkn nice, how many horsepower is it?

  • omfg xD

  • he took his time!!!

  • i dont know why did i see a kenworth..not a freightliner

  • that particular one in this video is in fact a freightliner called Xtreme Machine. There is another one that is a jet powered Kenworth but its a different truck.

  • thanks for the info...gr8 video..

  • lol the truck farts fire

  • Ah man! I love those jetsters! Nice video! Love the force you feel when your there in person!

  • Hell yeah!

  • That was pretty intense

  • ridiculous

  • Quick, someone pitch in some carbon credits!!

Seriously though, History channel had a great documentary on the father/son team that conceived and continue to build and race the jet trucks. There are more operators now across the country, but the original father/son team still have the best trucks, the fastest runs and make the most appearances per year.

  • It isn't car it's monster

  • oh. that makes sense. sorry.

  • geez hold the frikin camera still!

  • couldnt, had to hold it over my head a bit so it could see over other peoples heads, and by doing so I couldnt really see what the camera was filming.

  • just a fancy light show, if they really meant it, than it wouldn't sputter in the beginning. they would never let something so volatile on a public track.

  • most of that is for show, towards the end its just easier for them to stage by popping it like that. They can bump the truck forward and keep the brakes on. But what do you mean a public track? What track is public anyway? Technically that would be a public track since you can run your car on it if you like.

  • @ucimaplaya2 The technical term is 'burner pops', and it is mainly for showing off. You see them all the time when the jet trucks race planes at air shows, they go up and down the crowd line, popping, blowing fire and smoke, and basically just strutting their stuff.

  • You've obviously never been to the track.

  • That was rediculous, what was the purpose of that, oh yeah I get, to gather all of the Neanderthals in one place to keep them away from the normal people in the city.

  • dood that was cool

  • actually it was 7.x seconds.

  • wahou !! impressive

  • speed world dragway in orlando fl

  • nice!!! where was that?
