humm..=0P i dunno. comming from a 4 yr vet of the rowland band.. you guys sounded better the week of the SCSBOA 2009. Still Nogales kicked yooo ass...=0P.maybe next time hu? . but still you guys rock...

I think you guys should of gotten a medal. Im the baritone section leader at BPHS and you guys sounded great on Saturday and i congratulated some guys from the band and i got dissed...with that attitude you guys wont get anywhere haha :D

At the Lester Oaks show,one of our members congratulated Rowland for winning sweepstakes,and got told something along the lines of"thats why were better".I think they deserved the gold medal at Lester Oaks.Rancho Verde won the Music Score Caption,but Rowland's

GE and visual scores put them on top

@emozoey0421 i will admit, savannah has a stronger brass, which probably gave them the advantage. but unfortunately, their woodwinds did not match to rowland's or even west torrance's.

@emozoey0421 i agree, savannah has a REALLY strong brass section, but i will leave it at that and not say one school is better than another school. congrats on gold.

we may not be a great section, but a lot of our brass members are new to their instruments and we don't have many strong individuals (some too strong for their own good, haha ;) ). i'm proud of them either way because they've come a long way and we've taken a big step toward building a better brass section.
