G5's have variable bus speeds. Every model is different. My 2.0GHz dual G5 had a 1GHz bus. The higher model units had higher buses. This was the G5's strength. Their weakness is their cache size, in which many G4's show complete domination.
This is why a Dual Processor 1.42GHz G4 w/ 2MB Cache Per Chip will definitely outrun a single 1.6GHz G5, and possibly even more.
Would be nice to see a CPU with the Bus of a G5, and the Cache of a G4. Oh wait, that's what the Core2Duo is!

the mac pro supports 64GB of ram, and its not intel dual core its Intel Xeon Quad core it has 8 Core running at 2.8Ghz
