  • Nice hunk of over priced under powered garbage you have there.

  • ginger?...

  • when you take off the plastic cover that is after the hinged door thing dose it realy make that nois

  • wow they came out the new 1 its 8 core intell dual core proccesser and ram can go up to 16 gb and up 4tb of staoage and it look like this yay

  • ram lover

  • the mac pro supports 64GB of ram, and its not intel dual core its Intel Xeon Quad core it has 8 Core running at 2.8Ghz

  • Fuck you does it can only have 32GB as i wanted 64GB in mine :P

  • no in theory when they make 8gb ram modules for it, it will support 64-GB ram

  • oh ok ;)

  • @macnerd93 only if the logic board can. Just because larger modules are made doesn't mean the hardware will work with it.

  • @macnerd93 a g5 could take 16gb near the end of it's productin.

  • yeah and what comment was you referring to? having been a mac user for 12 years and owning 7 Macs myself i think i new that

  • @macnerd93 you saying that they will make 8 gb ram modules for it. it's hard to find 4 gb modules now nevermind 8 gb. Thats why 16 GB costs a couple hundered but 32 Gb costs a few thousand.

  • and it now can go up to 3.2Ghz 8 core

  • @macnerd93 and now it can go up to 3.33GHz 12 Core

  • lol. Exterme Single CPU power.

  • um, what computer do you have? im pretty sure its got one cpu too, oh, and did you know the g5 was dual core? probobly not.

  • Actually, all my Macs are Dual Core or Dual Processors. That is a single core 1.6 G5. Noob.

Hell, my G4 is faster than that G5.

  • i have a 1.8ghz, only because my brother was stupid and thought what was fast then would be fast now.

  • Is that true? Could a G4 dual processor MDD machine be faster than a single G5? But, I thought the G5's had 600mhz bus?

  • G5's have variable bus speeds. Every model is different. My 2.0GHz dual G5 had a 1GHz bus. The higher model units had higher buses. This was the G5's strength. Their weakness is their cache size, in which many G4's show complete domination.

This is why a Dual Processor 1.42GHz G4 w/ 2MB Cache Per Chip will definitely outrun a single 1.6GHz G5, and possibly even more.

Would be nice to see a CPU with the Bus of a G5, and the Cache of a G4. Oh wait, that's what the Core2Duo is!

  • wait whats cache size im 12 and i am very intrested in computer like i know all the other stuff just really didnt know cache means

  • Cache is like.... how much you can use power, before it has to refill...

It's knda like MPG for cars. Though not as catastrophic lol

  • What does noob mean?

  • noob+newibe+a new person so a person who is new which eventually advances out of the noob position once more experienced :)

  • Hmm...interesting. Thanks
