The Bisons won the final American Association pennant in 1997. They also won the IL pennant in 1998 and 2004. So that's three titles for the current incarnation of the Bisons.

There is a local myth that Buffalo held a race with a Tuscorian Indian participating. The Indian had the lead when a local tripped him to let a white man win. Cheated the Indian cursed the city deaming that no major league Buffalo competer would ever win a championship again.
Toronto, which a hundred miles north of Buffalo, has had some good luck with the Blue Jays, winning in 1992 & 1993, Toronto Argonauts of the CFL last won in 2004, & the Hamilton Tigers in 1999. Unfortunately, the Maple Leafs still haven't won Stanley Cup since 1967. I don't know if these count as Buffalo area teams, since few fans from Buffalo cheer for those Canadian teams.

why dose god hate buffalo. he dosnt god dose not hate nor he ever will. itas that the fans need to act upon buffalo alot more you cant let buffalo go to toranto what would that make buffalo look like. the fans need to day something not just let everything get pushed over god dosnt hate buffalo. the fans just need to look on the bright side and see the good things buffalo will win someday the bills are ready for next season and hockey is like my birthday they will win just belive buffalo belive
