Yes, I remember. Movie film collected from garbage cans behind movie theaters kept me and my buds busy making fire bombs when I was a wee lad. Gre up in chicago, lots of fun things to do in those days. Matches were our toys hahahaha
cut the ball into small pieces, place in small, shallow metal container, disolve with acetone till it's capable of being brushed onto the matches. One light coat on head of match, heavier multiple coats on wood section will give it burning power like you see in the video, nah, just kidding, not that much power.

So you can also wrap it in an aluminium foil and light it, and you get a little smoke-bomb;)
