Hopkins easily dismantles Cleverly. Cleverly is talented and is a good puncher, but he is hand made for hopkins to defeat. Hopkins loves to fight one dimensional fighters such as pascal, pavlik, etc.

I think Pascal is a better fit for Cleverly...One that could enhance his repuation.....Also I think their styles would mesh quite well, with a knock out for either a realistic outcome.....Either a Pascal knockout early or Cleverly doing the business late, due to Pascal's lack of stamina.

"Cleverly looked horrible last night." He's looked horrible in his last five. It's difficult to comment on Cleverly as I just spend his fights watching, waiting for some kind of epiphany were I finally understand what exactly it is Nathan's doing. This sounds dumb, but I honestly think he was embarrassed by his KO record so he goes looking for them more. People say "maybe he doesn't fight like a tall fighter cos' he's not capable," forgetting he used to and changed.

Surely he should fight Braehmer? I think Clev is an exciting fighter with a lot of potential, but he's nothing more than a paper champion until he gets the ex-champ out of the way.

I like Cleverly but he looked horrible last night imo. He needs to stop trying to fight light Ricky Hatton, I mean wtf, he is a lanky dude so fight like a lanky dude. Use your damn height and box. He has the speed and skill to do it, someone needs to clip him round the ear and say "oi, Nathan, stop fannying about".

Cleverly will be matched very safely by Warren in the next couple of fights- maybe fighting the mandatories. Needs more work before throwing him into the Lion's Den against the likes of Hopkins, Pascal and FROCH!!!

cleverly cant box, he's like a light heavyweight version of margarito but a bit faster & not as tough

him & pascal would be interesting, if cleverly can survive the early rounds he could take pascal into the deep end & drown him

Can't see BHop v Clev happen. BHop has said manys a time recently he just want the big big fights and the big big money. Wouldn't think BHop would class this as a big fight! I wouldnt like to see it happen either tbh as it would be man against boy i reckon and Clev wouldn't be abale to handle that, kinda like the way Pascal was seriously getting frustrated

Why not, he will get well paid, hopkins will not go on for ever, he could suddenly get old mid fight, and he will get well paid. Clev dont want to fight another replacement for another year or two, just get in and take on the top men

Might be the worst fight Cleverly could pick.if it did happen i think he'd have 2 KO B-hop early,or B-hop would wear him down n KO him,i dnt think Cleverly's ready 4 the big names haha maybe he could do with a few more lesser opponents first.

Not anuff £ in the Clev - Hop fight for Hop ? But do think Clev might get the job done in the first 5 rounds on pure fighting rather than boxing.
