Haha, funny, its recorded that the Beatles weren't even aware of the initials of that song until after it was recorded and pointed out, as stated in an interview. The song was made because of Lennon's son Julian who drew a picture of a classmate of his , whose name was Lucy, he described it to his father, as Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds.
