Hey guys I just finished playing your game. I really loved it! Great style and I see the inspirations. Really good job and props on making this just the 5 of you. I am myself a student in the video game field.
This was a huge inspiration for me and my comrades to make something awesome and go beyond our limits! May I ask, where are you working now if you found a job in the industry? Take care!
@SilentJ43 Hey, sorry to ignore you. The OST was created by Hernan Ojuel, who is actually doing his own game in the same university where Dash was created, so you can expect some new cool music from this great guy for his project ^^
Also, we didn't think to realese the OST, but as soon as I can talk to the guy who created it, I'll ask for some great realese ;)
(Actually, I did a cover art for the OST just for pleasure so now I will be able to use it :P)
@SilentJ43 Tank you for your kind words! I'm pretty busy right now, but I'll try to finish the final mixes ASAP--I'll let you know when they're ready!
Okay... I got it to work & now I'm going to give it my honest feedback.
I think the game is very good, but not without its flaws (don't take this as an attack as I did enjoy the game... just take this as constructive critism)
1. The game is way too short. I'm sure this was on purpose, but if you were to make it longer, the game would be absolutely amazing.
2. The camera is really iffy at times (I used a controller, I don't know about with a mouse). There were times where the camera....
lead me straight to my death because I couldn't see an obstacle or it wouldn't turn at all which made my jumps hard to judge.
3. The character just doesn't jump high or far enough.... the game has a very Jak & Daxter feel to it, so I would sometimes think that the character jumps the same only to realize he can't jump more than a few inches from the ground or a few few inches away from him. This made jumps overly difficult at times.
@TheShadowBrigade Thanks to explain your feedback, we really enjoy this words ^^
We have to say that this game is an STUDENT game. Is a final project of an university of barcelona, and actually is the longer of this year and most of becouse all the extra thinks and explorable places we put.
We had some issues with the jump and we didn't fixed to be perfect. I also think that he spents no much time in the air.
Also, the camera is very hard to program (I'm not a programer, I'm the main artist) but we had discusions about to make it free or scripted and in both ways it was very hard.
Our professors made us do a game about 10 minutes, and as we work for a year we absolutly couldn't put anythink else.
Thanks anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed it dispite it have lots of bugs and problematic stuff.
@TheShadowBrigade Sorry but we all now very busy in our works so the programmers can't spent time fixing that. I'm very sorry... Even so, I have Windows 7 64 bits and I can play the game so I actually don't know what makes it not work.
THIS GAME COME FROM CRASHBANDICOOT EVEN HIS NAME WITH HIS STAGES LIKE CRASH

@MishkaSky Hi! Thanks a lot for the coment. It's great to read this kind of stuff ^^
Now, one programer is in Kotox in Barcelona and the other two are in Double Six, UK.
I'm working in Barcelona too, in Novarama. We are all happy to work already in the industry and we hope to go further ^^
Hope to see your project someday ;)
