For the comment below, I don't think the BBC are using this version, it only sounds the same because they're both playing the same song on the Mandolin.. I could be wrong, but I highly doubt they would use a sample without permission lol. And it's Russel Brand's advert for his Radio Shows.

A mandolin has 8 strings tuned as a violin with the E A G and D strings all doubled with another string of the same type tuned to the same pitch. From the High String it's EE AA GG DD. The Ukelele has 4 strings and is tuned in a different pattern.
