what worked for me was I downloaded another free app real quick just to see if it would do the same thing (shut off when opened) it worked so I deleted it, then I checked the other apps just to be sure they were actually not going to work before I deleted them but they all worked again. I don't exactly know what it did that for or if its still gonna be messed up, but it worked so far, its worth a shot.

please don't do anything in this vide. just access your ipod in ITunes and in the menu, click "Store" and "Authorize this Computer." This will reauthorize the apps on your ipod.

another way is to go into setting reset and click erase ipod and then in itunes click restore the whole process takes about ten mintes if you have the firmware on file if not then you have to download it. my ipod did tis so i did that and it worked also with 4 other peoples ipod i have fixed
