  • inline 4 any day sorry

  • decent reviews...but damn- this video feels like it was made in the 80's

  • cbr600rr vs r6? which is more fun????? i sat on both, both comfortable. I saw both, both look sexy. I rode both, they both make me smile. WHICH ONE DO I CHOOSE AND WHY!?!? idc about reliability Yamaha and Honda are great for that anyways

  • @iH8MomJokes cbr easier to ride r6 more power and better in the track cbr better in the streets both look sick I would go with the r6 they have improved allot, cbr is great but feels like a beginner bike to me when I rode one, has the ycci ( yamaha chip controlled intake) and screams down the rode, either way you can't go wrong both are great bikes, it all comes down to the rider, in my opinion go with the r6 design power race machine and is the fastest 599cc or 600cc and great top and mid power

  • @jthuggamk3 Thanks for the info, it somehow made me lean towards the suzuki because they are new for 2011 and heard good things. Ergonomics were great, seat was great, the whole thing felt like it was made just for me. Can't wait!! i guess everyone feels different about each bike huh.

  • @iH8MomJokes Oh yea you can never go wrong with a suzuki great bikes very comfortable and fun to ride. Yes everybody likes something different just go with whichever you like and feel best on. Have fun and ride safe.

  • driving like a bunch of girls

  • Yamaha R6 baby!! Design, Power, Race-Machine!!

  • i got the triumph, best 600 for the road. r6 if i was in wss.... but i aint.

  • 1. R6

    2. ZX6R

    3. GSX-R 600

    4. CBR 600

    5. Daytona 675

  • Honestly I would be happy with n e one of those but here is MY top 5, not fastest not bestest :P just what I would like to buy

    1. Daytona 675 cuz of body style, n it's some what rare

    2. Gixxer

    3. R6

    4. Ninja

    5. CBR

  • CBR600RR baby

  • I liked your video very much.

  • I just bought a Daytona and immediately walked into a honda yamaha kawasaki dealership and walked out praising the lord that i went into the triumph dealership first.

  • my brother says the daytoner is best and he no's more about bikes then all of u, so it means its true

  • @CarlBobUSA can he teach you english?

  • Just sold my gixxer for a daytona :-) completely different yet some how exactly the same, I test rode all 600's and chose the triumph as it felt different just can't wait to ditch its shit oem can sounds like taking a turd

  • J'aime pas trop les japonaise je préfère les italiennes(MV Agusta,Ducati, Aprilia,Bimota ...).

  • OK Daytona It is!

  • ZX by Far!

  • wow...i wanted an 08 cbr600rr that same red/black color theme but not anymore. seriously? slowest of all bikes? thats so gay. i want the fastest 600 out there! and now between CBR, GSXR, NINJA, and R6. the cbr i think is now out of question.i guess im going to the gsxr 600 now. if anyone has any good reason why i should stay with honda please let me know. cause i think the looks on the 08 are wicked! and look coolest of all bikes rofl.

  • @bloodsniper10

I have to say that your statement confuses me. Where did it say the CBR was slowest? If you're looking for a reason to stay with honda, click the link in the description. You'll find at least a couple dozen good reasons to stay with it there, as the bike wins the shootout while posting the HIGHEST hp numbers of the true 600s (it's also the lightest btw). If that's what your decision is being based on, you should probably reconsider your criteria anyway. They're all stupid fast!

  • @toeblur like, it says going on across the screen, the horsepower, and it had the least. but yes they are all fast! and i do stil want a cbr now lol. i told my dad how i wanted the fastest cc, and then hes like "well i don't think i want you getting one then". but then i was like..."yeah your right" lol. and the looks are amazing. especially the 2008 model. me and dad saving up together for a bike. and will share it. but i wanna crotch rocket. and im not 100% sure hes up for that lol..

  • @bloodsniper10 Yamaha has the least buddy...

  • @bloodsniper10

its all the rider.. gsxr just look retarded

    ride red

  • @MrNAVYfc You're right. The CBR turn signals are revolutionary in looks and styling. They came up with those circa 1980, I believe.

  • The bikes might be different in power and torque but it's always the driver that puts the bikes to use, so if you suck the bike will too. I still like the r6 and cbr though...

  • Lol thefuzzyfupa r6 is not a Honda

  • R6 is the best Honda, Kawi, Triumph Mas Puto......

  • wow... gsxr had 105whp and honda only had 99whp ... yikes.....

  • what an awesome video. Triumph wins!

  • The reason that Honda has so many bikes racing is because they can afford to hire more factory riders. Think about, how many Honda accords are sold every year in the US alone? Not to mention all the other cars honda sells and lawn mowers, weed eaters etc. The company is huge. Ever heard of a car company called Acura? Yep that's honda too. So yes they make a good bike, as they should. But the amount of riders they have isn't because the cbr is dominant. It's because they have millions to blow!

  • @carlinlucas c'mon man...it's a fact that the honda is the best bike in motogp...why did hayden leave honda? he either was seeking a new challenge (beacause the honda is just ridiculously better than all other bikes) or they told him, that he only won the championship because of the bike...

    think about it...

    Honda's da shit!

  • THE DAYTONA 500 IS BETTER

  • Comment removed

  • "R means race ready!" All of these are comparable bikes that are very close in all categories. Pick the one you like best and rip it! I'll keep my '08 R6 though.

  • The zx6r i think is the best because I think it sounds the best. These bikes are basically all the same performance wise meaning their differences in performance isn't a whole lot so when choosing you should choose by the cosmetics of it and sound.

  • 675 rocks!!! I got the 09 check my vid..... short mountain ride lots of twistie

  • theres no way you can put these bikes in an order i mean there all awesome in there own way and i don't care what people say below if any one of those bikes were given away they would take it ......

  • 2009 Stats are in.

    Triumph

    Yamaha

    Kawi

    Suz

    Honda

  • @RippinSkullz LOLOL no way in hell honda came in last.. im sorry... it is the best bike by far.. ive ridden them all on the track besides the triumph, ive only ridden a 675 on the street.

  • @stayontwowheels

well by 5 world-wide race pros the more consistent placing this is it. Why would I make this up.

  • @RippinSkullz look at the bikes in the 2010 FIM races.. its like 20 cbr600s and 2 r6s a kawi and thats about it lol... its constantly honda taking 1st 2nd and 3rd

ever heard of Ten Kate racing?? the world champs? honda all dayyyy

  • @stayontwowheels Jorge Lorenzo is over 120 points ahead with his Yamaha (record for largest point gap) than second place....In fact, 1st and 3rd were Yamaha and Honda shows up in fifth from MotoGP Valencia....

To top it all off, Yamaha has won the last 3 MotoGP's (2008, 2009, 2010).

Be a fan boy all you want, lord knows I am, but now you are just making things up.

  • @stayontwowheels AMEN FOR HONDA but i go for suzuki to i love gsxr and cbr my favorites

  • Comment removed

  • r6 kills all

  • cbr>r6>675

  • Triumph sounds gay.. but it's still the best choice

  • I love my ninja, but the triumph is the best.

  • give me one of them bikes and i'll take it

  • 1 triumph

    2 yamaha

    3 kawasaki

    4honda-suzuki

  • the daytona makes me feel like doing a handstand on the bar. wayyyy too much front-tire feeling. perfomrance is awesome but i go with the honda. best of the bunch

  • 1 Honda

    2 Yamaha

    3 Triumph

    4 Kawasaki

    5 Suzuki

If you ask me....but you didn't

  • i own all of those bikes cause i can and i might build a museum but anyhoo, if u must know a curators opinion its the triumph, just superior in every way except for a slipper clutch, can't wait for the next model after mine, it be a helicopter with penthouse pets lubricating the blades for aerodynamics with triumph logos and my hand on one of their tits, i got fired but it was worth every molested feel

  • I´d take the ninja

  • DAYTONA the ONE !

  • of course you can compare the 675 here.. its only a 3cyl engine. the others are 4cyl... you could throw in a 750 twin also and be roughly similar performance. all are fairly equal, go follow the AMA rules on this. youll see! its not just about engine size.. the number of cylinders has alot to do with it. you could run even larger than 750twin if air cooled.. aka them buell thingys LOL

  • Why is the triumph even in here?, its a friggin 675 >.> OF COURSE!!!! get it outta here.

  • because a bigger engine doesnt mean better bike

  • @franknbeans69

its a triple the others are 4 cyl dumby, think

  • @franknbeans69 its still a supersport.

  • @franknbeans69 The 675 and Ninja 636 are in the 600 class.. If you throw out the 675 then you gotta throw out the 636 too.. Now your down to 3 bikes and that doesn't make for a good review.

  • @kitepro87 Thats not a 636 its a 600. Those are not manufactured anymore. They stopped them in 2006 or 2007 I cant remember which.

  • @DThompson1985 the last year was 2006

  • triumph is the best

  • @svolugz300

    i totally agree

    -Daytona 675 owner

  • @bobbydoedoe

    i totally DISagree

    -Eats 675's for breakfast...

    -Kawi 636 Owner

  • @svolugz300 have you ridden any of these other bikes? i have. triumph is definitely not the best. it is if you personally like it but there aren't any definitive reasons why triumph is absolutely the best of the bunch. at least not from an objective stance.

  • @svolugz300 kawasaki, honda, suzuki, yamaha are better than the british triumph, only the italians and germans are superior in making motorcicles, bmw, bimota, ducati and aprilia are the best, but ducati and honda are the ones i pick and the legendary ninja.....

  • i want all of them!!!!! o0.0o

  • this is 2008 shoot out.Ill smoke that zx6

  • I own the cbr graffiti an i ride with my cousins who own the R6 raven, a kawi green zx6,red n blk cbr 600rr and a gixer 750.. t\The cbr has way better handleing by far. First an second gear is strong the only 1 that can keep up on the take off is the zx6. The the 750 will catch up eventully like @ 130- 140 mph. But in quater mile the CBR will smoke all thats a proven fact ...

  • @21Cbr600rr dude u are so right on top

  • 675 better even on the price!

  • this video is somewhat inaccurate...i've had a zx6r, r6, now a daytona 675..and the triumph is on a different level then these 600's i wouldnt even compare it to these bikes it out performs them in every way, not that they aren't good bikes, but still the 675 is bored out anyways...it pulls on these 600's like nothing else. Compare it to a Duc 848 not these bikes..(not hating on them, however i was not impressed with my zx6r it's like a tank).

  • how do u feel about the r6 cuz im planning on getting it

  • actually my best friend has an 2008 r6, the r6 is a good bike (i believe a little more expensive MSRP then the other jap bikes) but he is having alot of problems and its 8 months old, it keep shutting down on him for no aparent reason and he has been having radiator clicking, and he babys it....overall it is definantly a good looking bike but performance wise its not the best IMO...i would go with the new Cbr600rr i've head nothing but great things about this bike

  • but overall these bikes are all great, if you are new to riding you won't really notice a big difference and it mostly comes down to your personal preference...good luck

  • @rEcKLesSzzz read up, research, all the info u need is there, the daytona is superior in almost all fields except it's a tiny bit rougher than the others off the track. . But that is a sacrafice i am more than willing to take seeing as it looks, performs better and the sound, THE SOUND it blows all the jappers away no question. The seating position is much more race style oriented and depending on ur physique would IMO be the only reason not to go for the Daytona.

  • @destined2sleep if you have a more race oriented seating , your back is gonna become messed up...

  • @rEcKLesSzzz Screw the r6, thats what u'll be saying when a 675 passses u & everyone is looking at the Triumph and not u

  • yo fuck i nhave r600 at my house

  • BRING THE 636 BACK DAMIT!

  • I have a 08' 675. i pulled in a 600 rr with a head start with no problem. 675 have a mean top end. Out of all these bikes, i definately recommend the triumph

  • im surprised the gix has the same HP as the R6. other reviews say the R6 had the highest...

  • gsx r 600 is better than r6 and nicer

  • LOL...whatever it is...it's not 120 wheel horsepower...that's impossible on a 600, unless u got a turbo or some shit LOL

  • Seems whoever made this video has the hp wrong..

  • 675 rockzzz!!

  • GSX R 600 ANY DAY

all are very close, but the gsxr is more beautiful.

  • R6 no doubt about it

  • R6 is best for track.... I wouldn't like to *ride* one on a social basis though

  • o and do ppl not realize that simply because it's got more torque, hp, and like 5 lbs less, the fact that it's a 3 cylinder makes a much bigger difference.

  • 09's - gsxr600 12.8 compression ratio

    zx-6r 13.5 compression ratio.

    same horsepower...

and then the yamaha's and honda's are more rider freindly, triumph a class of it's own.

but the 09 zx-6r looks best on paper period

  • TRIUMPH

  • 08 600rr should be 105hp instead if 09's 99 hp.

  • 105hp? lol my bike is gsx r 600cc 2005 is 120hp 161kg

  • you talking about rwhp or crank hp?

  • 120cv = 120 hp

  • err, ok

  • 120 hp at the crank...the horsepower displayed in the video is wheel horsepower, which is the horsepower that actually matters....ur gixer probably has somewhere's around 105....

  • my bike has 120hp=120cv

  • thats not at the wheel. yours is around 100 as well.

  • @consta4891 ....@ the crank.

  • loooove mid weight bikes

i never even look at anything smaller or bigger

  • 600s are good starter bikes?!?!, lol yeah i guess if you are responsible, but you make it sound like they are slow, all the 600 bikes do around mid to high 10s in the 1/4 mile, thats insanley fast, i think they are almost too fast.

  • im partial to the cbr's cuz i own one and they are GREAT bikes. tho, one day i woudnt mind having a 675... never a gixxer, no disrespect, i just want something a lil more original. they are all great bikes tho

  • I love my 675 and I think it's great you don't see to many of them.People always tell me they never knew triumph made a bike that looked like it.I guess everyone thinks cruiser when they hear triumph.Makes it even better having the pearl white SE 2010.

  • the red one is faster

    _o_

  • :o did you even watch the video???

675 = more torque more HP and even is lighter.

so.. NO the 675 is faster than the CBR...

  • did you ever race them?

  • Yes I did! Well I own an 675 and my friend owns an CBR so yes ;)

  • do the daytonas hold there value like the gsxr does?

  • In the UK yes. In fact in Jack Lilley in Staines they didnt have any in the showroombecause even in the recession demand has outstripped supply.

Bought mine for 5000gbp 2 years ago. Ive only lost about 500 quid.

  • my bro is the owner of a suzuki gsxr k7 with two brother exhaust and he did nice things to his bike like red steps red window and new plates and the wheels got a red stripe on it and he is right now in germany in the eiffel

  • lovw the triumph and the gixxer, fun and easy to use

  • I own a 2007 Gsxr 600, very fast and just a great motorcycle. Every bike has it's on little tweaks and characteristics that people prefer. I really like the gsxr and cbr because of their comfort. All of these supersports are screaming machines. I'm really having trouble choosing my next bike. :/

  • I had the gsxr 600 k6, if I were to get another bike it would be the gsxr 750

  • gsxr750

  • i own a 750. 08. love it. looking forward to the 2010.

  • i dont understand why they have to make such long names(and confusing).....it makes no sense besides being able to tell how many cc's it has

  • be a man

  • lol!

  • I've got an 07 Cbr 600, couldn't love it more. It's very well rounded and friendly on the street, and mean as sh*t when you want it to be.

  • too late to challenge the 675 as it has already won the title of superbike 2009! and the 675's are blitzing everything in the superstock 600's on track including the r6 cbr600rr zx6 etc etc. the 675 is beating every bike at every test they do......and facts dont lie when they race head to head!!

  • this video is horrible..doesn't tell you fuckin shit!

  • That all depends on wat you ride mate, everyone is going to love the bike they ride the most. Numbers dont lie though. 1/4 Mile numbers that is, Ive personally run an 11.7 on my 600rr.

  • whoaaa keep working on that I've seen stock 600RRs run in the 10s, I haven't dragged mine yet but I was running 11.90 on the Ninja 650R and this is much faster. It's hard to get a proper launch I've noticed, not quite used to it

  • Yeah me too mate, I dragged mine when i just got it so the motor was still a little tight and i hadnt fully got used to it. Ive got an Akropovic can and a K&N filter now and its been dyno'd so hopefully mid winter when the air is nice and cold ill get her out and she wat she does. ps from reading the dyno sheet right it front of me it makes 115.4 hp with perfect afr's. (this is with the Akro but no filter)

  • The 675 is the best, hands down. I own a Street Triple 675, the motor is a little detuned for less HP and torque but it has a smoother torque band than the daytona. I could kick any R6, GSXR, ZX6 or 600RR off the line up to 100mph but after that they'll walk away from me. So the Daytona will take the cake and eat merdujapon1's (137 HAHAHAHORSEPOWER) R6. And yes, all HP #'s are at the wheel, the daytona makes 123 at the crank.

  • So gixxer won?:)

  • that's what i want to know! they didn't rank them or anything.. it was just a video promoting every single one lol.

nvm.. results in the link in description..

  • 137hp from a stock r6??? Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

In fact 137hp out of any 600 is ridiculous lol

  • yup the best 600 HP numbers i've seen were 120 (at the crank) for the '07-'08 CBR 600RR. I believe that beats 'em all, and that's only like 107 at the wheel

  • triumph is at 123bhp to the rear

  • the daytona 675 is making 126 at the crank, and with 3 cylinders, and i believe the jap bikes all make around 130. I know my 675 is making 111.4hp at the wheel and 52.9 lb/ft with full pipe, filter and pc3

  • what rpm does yours redline?

  • 14000

  • all horsepowers are to the wheel not to the shaft.

  • the horsepowers are wrong !! and the r6 is the best !!

  • i think the horsepowers are to the rear wheel not to the crankshaft. no? when i got my r6 on dyno it indicated 137 hp

  • no way.-

  • yes way :)

  • R6 is better

  • I have a 08 675 and it is hands down the better bike of the 5

  • the triumph is only 8999? i thought it was more expensive than the rest of the 600s

  • triumph is the cheapest of 5 but also the best.

  • how ironic

  • but i own an R6 and i can smoke every single middleweight bikes. power commander + termignoni = a virtual motogp machine.

  • motogp machines make more than twice the power of your r6 buddy.

  • -_- i know i was just exaggerating

  • ok.

  • i own a 57 plate black daytona 675,before i bought it i had a ride on all the new fast 600s to makesure i was spending my money wisely,i did'nt want the triumph at all coz its a triumph but as soon as u sit on it you find that its so thin and streamlined compared wid the competition,it made the other bikes feel huge and realy wide, then the engine made the other 600's feel like they were 125s till the got to about 10 grand, plus the gorgeous noise,i love the cbr rr but the daytona RULES the 600s

  • sounds convincing at the end

  • I have owned a hornet for the last 8 months. I am kinda bored with it now and want a more aggressive and better sounding bike. Having read all about the daytona, its difficult to look elsewhere. Does anyone think its too uncomfortable for a fairly inexperienced rider like me doing a city commute?

  • not uncomfortable at all,i own a 675 and im 6'2 its very comfy and its a GREAT bike to start out with. IMO

  • go 675, i have the older daytona 600 and although it doesnt have that killer 675 t motor it still beat all the Japs to the IOM TT finish, the 675 won last years british supersport and the reviews on this years bike say it really is the best supersport out there.... good luck with the waiting list though.

  • @sausagelife As longas you are at least 5'10" the daytona will please you everytime you throw a leg over. it is a very easy to ride supersport if you have some sportbike experience. you will love the triple motor it is batshit crazy power from 3k to redline. none of that 10k whack that seem to plague all the jap inline fours.

  • @subiedude07 weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee fuckingt Aced ur test, i own two thousand nine model, i am loving this torque, i live in NZ so perfect for me, just bent on wether to take risks cause its such a gorgeous machine.... but i love to ride to my limits too, damn it

  • @subiedude07 i have owned a red 675 for a week. Absolutely adore it. I park it in my garage and cant help staring at it. If it were a lady, i'd be having never ending sex with her :)

  • 600's are good starter bikes if you have some self control. I'd go with the honda or the suzuki. they are both well balanced, smooth, and rider friendly.

  • I'm thinking about the Honda. after I've had a few years with the 250 scooter. what do you think would be good for a new rider?

  • Uh yea the CBR does not have 99 hp lol. Its up there with the triumph and R6. Its also a given that the triumph has a little more HP than the rest but then again its not a true 600

  • 07/08 cbr has 107 hp not 99, lol

  • Thats why i never pay too much attention to this kind of stuff, my cbr 600rr its an o8 and it has 106hp with 45tq

  • Thanks J for correcting that info. These guys done bump their head. I have about 5 magazines testing all the 600's. None of them have the CBR near 99 hp. The only bike that came under 100hp is the Kawi without the jumper mode trick. The 07/08 CBR 600 is the second strongest bike. The Truimph is first of course b/c it has 75 etxra cc's so that makes sense.

  • 75cc more but one less cylinder... same reason why Ducati are aloud more cc in competition due to running the L-Twin 2 cylinder motor. To have more torque from a triple is understandable, but more HP at the top end over high revving inline 4's is a massive achievement. cc's do not mean power, think a 2000cc single cylinder could produce much more than 70hp?

  • It's probably 107 at the crank and 99 at the wheel.

  • hey about the 07 ducati 800ss, how do u compare this to any 4 cyl japs. cuz i was lookin for a video "review" for this bike but theres none. pls tell whats good en bad bout this motorcycle. thanks

  • I suggest to check out the Ducati 848 if u like superbikes...THIS ONE should have been at this shootout. Even if it has some ccm more, it is comparable! I read a few tests comparing 600RR, R6, 848 and 675...I was surprised Ducati had not the top notch bike...I drive an R6, think its the most beautiful (Monster), and powerful at the same time. But Í`d love to check out the 675 (I will) - Peace to all riders, wish the Winter was over yet. (and it didn`t even start really...)
