PS, I mean the what is the first song of the video?... the Artist section says this is the River Sings by Enya... which is the second song - I have her entire discography! lol! :)
@ Rinvirdoh, why does it matter? The Old Ways are being kept alive and in tradition. No Pagan denies it's roots. That is what makes us strong and united especially against those who would wrong us or cause our beliefs harm. Revel in the love and pass on the ways to those who would want to learn instead of spreading negativity.
yes but where did it begin, it began in ireland along with beltane, lugasnadh and samhain, then it spread across to other countries you do know it was later renamed st. brigids day when christianity came to ireland, and wicca is a copycat don't deny it, it is but i'm glad they celebrate it the old fashioned way.
I would use better verbage than "copycat" Wiccan (which I am not) honor our sacred day with love, so I see no need in belittling what they choose to make sacred. I don't think anyone denies that Wicca stems from the Celtic ways, nor do Wiccans deny this either. The important thing here is that the Ancient Ways are being kept alive and being made stronger. Many Blessings to you Rinvirdoh, as I am sure you too will agree.
indeed you're right i hope some day the spirit of Dagda will descend in Eire again we need to go back before it's too late, and yes the ancient ways are being kept alive but unfortunetly in Ireland we celebrate through Christian views still every1 i know thought i was a devil worshipper when i celebrated Oíche Shamhna they of my ancestors and not dressing up, ohhh we are losing our ways but hopefully we'll return to them someday, Many Blessings to you too
@Rinvirdoh ya just about every pagan religion is similar... maybe different faces for different things but it's the same regardless, and wicca adopts alot from everywhere. why fix something that isn't broken? It just brings things together to bring everyone together. U have to keep in mind too this is only a piece of Wicca. I'm a Wiccan and I study everything.... Wicca can be anything I want it to be... so this video that ONE PERSON created is NOT a total pic of Wicca. )O(
In India if you watch....the offer water to lake. Its like.....take for example.... If mom buys us some sweets, she offers us...we share it with mom....She feels so happy in such way tat her son/daughter taking care of her...here mother nature is happy as she accepts the small care and love of her children[us].
I absolutely loved this video. Wonderful energy , I can feel the spirit of the Lady when I watch it. Very moving and filled with the power of love for our Mother.
Oh and the third song seems to be an intrsumental version of Enya's Ebudae! Just lovely!
