  • Dunhill Desire For Men is by far the most unique cologne I've ever owned. It's a sweet masculine that's best suited for a romantic evening, especially a cool evening as the smell is VERY warmth inducing. The reason I say its a romance cologne is pretty simple. Most women I've asked have agreed the scent makes them think about sex. No Joke. It's notes are listed below in order:

    Top Notes

    Lime, Neroli, Apple, Bergamot.

    Middle Notes

    Patchouli, Rose, Teak.

    Base Notes

    Vanilla, Musk, Labdanum

  • @cardmaverick (continued)

My impression is that it smells like a warm chocolate apple with musk. I think the chocolate like aspect is why it seems to be an aphrodisiac like fragrance. I should also add that many women have told me that they think they could also wear it themselves, so it seems like it could be somewhat uni-sex.

  • The most unique fragrance I have ever smelled is Booster by Lacoste. This is unlike anything else, with notes of menthol, eucalyptus, and a sharp fruit. It will get attention, and have people asking "what is that"? It is incredibly cheap, and a good frag to buy if you are looking for something sharp and attention-getting.

  • I must say the most unique fragrance i've smelled thus far has got to be DIESEL'S FUEL FOR LIFE. I love sweet fragrances, and i have yet to smell another one like this! Honestly Mark, have u smelled anything similar. It stays sweet, projects, and lasts! The rasberry is done well, no other like it... and coming from diesel? I was pleasantly surprised on this blind buy!!!

  • Hey

The most unique fragrance I have ever smelled has to be Paco Rabanne's 1 Million. I just can't get enough of the sweetness this fragrance offers. Like u said in your review, I agree there is a feminine side to it, but it makes it that much more interesting to me. Also, the opening with the blood orange is spectacular. Although I would have to disagree with you on the fact that this fragrance can be used for everyday wear (IMO, its more of a club scent, because its very strong and sweet).

  • The most unique I've ever smelled was a fragrance called Animale. It reminds me of Angel men, but minus the tar note. I smell orange and Chocolate in the opening, but in the dry-down I get a lot of chocolate. Longevity and Silage are decent also and. I prefer this one over Angle men because I didn't like the tar note of angle men,.

  • The fragrance with the most unique vibe, is Malbec, from Boticário. Just picture that you picked up a scent like Aquá di Giò and then let it grow, As a teenager growing up and becoming a man, and as an adult who loves the complexity and the luxury of a good red wine, in a cold day into a cottage with his beloved, eating and talking while they're smelling the wood scent of the forest near the house. That my friend, is the Malbec's vibe!!

  • wow you guys are kicking it !!! This is going to be hard to decide

  • One of the most unique fragrances for me is Sculpture Homme by Nikos. I really haven´t smelled anything like that so far and i really think that it´s a fragrance that stands out (by the way it´s a pretty "cheap" one to buy, too). What i really like about this one is that it´s a bit powdery such like Le Male, but not that strong i would say. So, that would be my "most unique" one ;)

  • Very Irresitable for Men by Givenchy, it manages to combine freshness, sweetness of coffee & chocolate, being masculine and on my skin women really love it .

  • Hey marc i had to break down my comment because i kept getting an error and could post it in one. Sorry but read the very first one and go up from there lol.

  • Is not a scent to wear everyday for a casual occasion but it can be done if sprayed lightly. I had good complement with Magnetism. I was walking towards my car after finishing school and i walked between to girls and this is what they said as i past by them. Girl 1 " did you smell that guy" girl 2 "No" Girl 1 " Damn he smelled good, really good" Girl 2 "ohh". lol real story.

  • But the thing I like about it is that is strong enough to last almost the whole but subtle to were in won't screaming at you. It is very pleasant and sexy. Magnetism is my secret weapon when going to a party or a club.

  • Well for me the one that smells unique has got to be Escada Magnetism. It's a little feminine but i think any guy can pull it off. Magnetism is all about Grape soda, yes grape soda.

  • first of all SOLO by LOEWE is very unique thing :) its a spanish way of thinking about LUXURY perfumes.

but there are some unique and different colognes some of them people dont even know about it :

    DECLARATION by CARTIER

F by FERRAGAMO a must have thing if you like style and love love attract stylish women

Z ZEGNA EXTREME if you love SPEED ADRENALINE and FAST CARS(not american muscle heavy straight line cars)like DUCATTI 999,AUDI R8,MASERATI GT and etc

so try hard guys SOLO is really good ;)

  • Most unique smell so far would most deffinetly have to be Perry Ellis (New) Its some what sweet, woody, earthy. But the main crazy thing is that when you take a wiff it almost gives you this cooling sensation in your throat and stomach like almost the sensation you get from smoking a Menthol Ciggarett or smelling Vicks Vapor Rub and i have never smelled anything alike and also i like tho bottle its preety damn unique. But the smell is very seductive all the way. Only way i can describe it!

  • i would probably have to say Amen and Zino Davidoff. when i first smelled amen i was shocked. never smelled anything like it. i had only been used to the cool waters/curves and didnt know 'gourmands' existed. i really enjoy the zino davidoff uniqueness also because i am avid gardener. when wearing it, it makes you smell like you just got done pruning in a big rose field when a light rain that just passed. i would recommend you get it marc. its very earthy and a cheapie also!

  • a long time ago i smelled Realities (the green one, not blue) by liz claiborne. i think of bold green wetness. an awesome "important, elegant night" frag. i think of walkin through the halls feeling confident. i think i could pull it off with a suit or a shirt and tie. the smell of it has to grow on you to be like "oh man. need a bigger bottle" no idea if my nose it just weird, but in my opinion it's very unique. and even if i don't get picked. it's a cheapy. what do you have to lose?

    Thank you.

  • sushi by Demeter

smells like fresh lime and ginger to me, but the only problem is that it's too light.

    still a very good fragrance.

By the way, earthworm by Demeter is worth getting in my opinion. smells just like the ground right after a downpour.

  • Ever stumbled on scent that wakes you up to a 5 oclock shadow with a dresser thats luring you to a pair of rugged dungarees and some good ole fashioned Chipawa boots all while an echo from woods is calling your name. As you listen to this voice it leads you to a grapefruit garden that welcomes you with hug of a citrus blanket and pokes with the woodsy Atlas cedar. Youre awake, energized and fresh and thats when you realize this mirage is the works of Terre DHermes by Jean-Claude Ellena.

  • Kinda funny, but for me the frag is CK Be. It's unique because everyone that wears it extracts different scents out of it. Some get a heavy lavender vibe (me) and others peach, others sandalwood. No matter which notes poke through, they are all wrapped lightly in a Snuggie of white musk. Classic clean scent that is unique for each person that wears it.

  • I'll go with L'Instant de Guerlain Pour Homme. It's definitely a unique Gourmand fragrance. First spray you get a light citrus (does not last very long) and soft fresh woods. The dry down is most definitely the best part. You still get the soft fresh woods with cocoa, vanilla, tea, and a hint of floral mixed together. Very beautiful masculine smell. This last 8-10 hrs on my skin and projects very well. Definitely a Fall/Winter fragrance. The more I wear this, the more it grew on me.

  • @itzyoboyThang Must buy, hands down. Not sure if you have this Marc, but I can definitely see you rockin' this.

  • A very good summer scent that will make your tropical island get away more exciting or will make you think your in the tropics is CREED virgin island water! This scent has an opening blast of lime and coconut fused together very well and with a very nice drydown kind of a sugary creamy musk i recommend this for anyone looking for a tropical vibe!

  • Kourous is gives off that confident I dont give a fuck what you think... a must for any collector... im shocked you dont have it

  • @YoungHustla1 I have it ! How dare you lol

  • @robes08 lol i thought you would... so what do you think of it?.... and i guess that im not getting the samples

  • I would go with Lise Watier NEIGES pour homme! the name of the fragrance makes you believe its a winter fragrance (neiges = snow) but this fragrance has a note that makes it wearable in every season very safely. Another good thing it's that you won't smell it a lot around you and it's pretty much for any age!

  • I will say Illicit by Billy Jealousy is the most unique scent that I own. It is a fresh scent but its different from all the others you normally smell. There is a strong ginger note which makes it unique, reminds me of sipping on some tea mixed with slices of ginger, wearing clothes straight out of the laundry...

  • definitely Pure Malt, first time i sprayed it on myself at the store, the car ride home, i was amazed that a fragrance could smell so damn tasty.

  • La nuit de l'homme is the most unique, there are gourmand scents, but this is different. The top is fresh, but slowly, the gourmand starts to shine, and its chocolate! Walking by someone while wearing this will have them turn around & think "Wow, I think I just got laid." It is assured compliments everytime you wear this versitile chocolate frag. If you love edible scents but you find them hard to wear this is perfect for who wants to be unique and be noticed. With this, you can't go wrong.

  • I would say Les Colognes Hermes Eau de Pamplemousse Rose. I bought the parfum version of terre d'hermes and got a sample of Pamplemousse Rose. The initial phase of the smell is very citrusy with lots of grapefruit and lemon and then turns into this unique smell of spicy burnt rose. the grapefruit smell sticks around through the whole period, but after a few hours the rose smell fades away and you are left with a very green grapefruit smell. This is a fantastic scent definately worth the money.

  • Lacoste Red Style in Play has been the most unique signature scent for me out of what i own and tested. The first time i tried it, it immediately took me back to a time in elementary school when spring was about to meet summer. Recess before 2:15, windows open, cool breeze with sun shining in, writing lines (if anyone remembers that, lol). Fun memories for a time I've almost forgotten, but replenished by this perfume. Parachute day!

  • Diesel fuel for life- I know this will sound weird but it reminds me of Disney world haha I don't kno y but it does

  • Le male may be Marc in a bottle, but Rochas Lui is Marc's mustache in a bottle.

  • The most unique for me would be l'eau d'issey pour homme intense. Not really my type of smell but It's really mature and it has masculine tobacco note that's good for formal nights out

  • Dior homme, easily for me. The top note has iris that gives off a lip stick, make up bag, vibe. It blends divinely with the cocoa and leather. I don't know how to describe the dry down as anything other than beautiful and intoxicating. To me, this is the ultimate unisex fragrance that has incredible longevity and silage, the perfect gentleman's fragrance.

  • The most unique i've smelled is honestly yves saint laurent l'homme it's very cooling and I like the way it smells

  • As much as i hate to say it i believe Usher is the most unique fragrance i have smelled out of all the 40 colognes i have. It's a very sexy dark fragrance and girls absolutely love it! Smells like a bargain Creed Himalaya, definitely my favorite of the celeb fragrances

  • Fahrenheit is by far my favorite and most unique fragrance. I have come across other unique ones, but none compliment me the way Fahrenheit does. From start to finish; it opens up with this amazing honeysuckle and the slightest melon smell with perfect projection. It raises eyebrows everywhere I go whether it's in the top, middle or base note.. it always projects enough so that somebody can smell it; this is the best part about it, where many frags lose their projection, Fahrenheit is a winner.

  • L'Instant de Guerlain Pour Homme Extreme is some incredible stuff. It opens with a citrus like the original, but then it goes gourmand almost immediately. Unlike a fragrance such as A*Men or Rochas Man, the chocolate smells like cocoa powder. It's a delicate chocolate note with a bit of spice and an underlying sense of freshness that keeps it from being too cloying. It was comforting, warm, and sensual. I couldn't imagine a better date night fragrance.

  • Sun Java by Franck Olivier: I blind bought this fragrance and I'll be the first to say its in a league of its own. Sun Java has those citus notes such as oranges, mandarin oranges, and bergamot that's great for the summer, but it can also hold its own in the winter with musk, vanilla ,amber notes. Very unique, very versatile a definite buy!

  • Givenchy Pi If you love vanilla u will love this one. like le male but not as over powering

  • PLEASURES for him by Estee Lauder is an extremely under rated fragrance. This is what I call my little hidden woody aromatic jewel. My girlfriend hated when I wore it to work because the ladies loved it! I love it because its different from the other things that are out there and because it was the first fragrance that I tried and bought without the assist from other ppl or reviewers. Pleasures for him in my opinion is indeed a pleasure to wear. A definite TRY!

  • Frederic Malle's Angeliques sous la pluie= The topnotes of this, which burn off fairly fast, smell like a good dry gin spiked with pink pepper and then warmed up, saki-style. Then you get light layers of mostly cedar and angelica, which is green and a bit dusky and warm and also a bit powdery around the edges. It's a bracing, warming and invigorating scent. That is why i think this is a very unique frag robes try it i bet your girlfriend will love it on you.

  • NAUTICA!!! this cologne is so under rated!! its probaly the best summer fragrance ive ever smelled. when you first spray it it smells like straight peach. you have never smelled anything like this, it will blow your mind. and the best part is that it is pretty inexpensive. i hope i win:)

  • ive tried uo mo moschino its good spicy sortoff fresh and las 16+ hours on me

because it fresh at first the it spices up

  • Hey Marc

Great look rocking the Lyle & Scott polo shirt.

    Gerard

  • Good luck to the contestants

  • Clive Christian's X for Men - just from the name alone I'd get the bottle. There was a time that the King was the symbol of luxury and power across the land. This is what X empowers you with, from the bottle design(dark, elegant and capped off with a crown) to the scent(with it's orgasmic spices and my favorite note the tonka bean). The symphony in this notes is like the perfect opera, exoticness that leaves you in awe and in a daze. A fragrance fit for a luxurious life, unique, fit for a King.

  • Canali - Summer Night Fun and fruity! Although I like the bottle and name, it doesn't seem to match the scent. A few sprays of this and you'll be thinking about the bright colors of tropical flavors.

  • Vibe by enzo rossi Scent: a fresh oceanic like smell with a subtle spicy woods note. Pros: The pros is that this cologne is a very unique scent, and it is very rare. U do not smell this around. It has given me a lot of compliments from girls and they ask what smell is that? It has a little sweetness like le male, it has a spicy woods note for depth, and a little raspyness like dolce gabanna pour homme. It has a lot of different elements that work together nicely.

  • Atman by Phat Farm...I bought it twice..loved it that much...even when you think the smell is gone and u can't smell it anymore..people will come to u and tell u that u smell nice..I was wearing this..even after the gym..when i was all sweaty..my friend asked..hey what are you wearing? can i borrow that? and I was like..u can still smell it?...it is a rich..masculine smell..it is not everywhere so you wont feel that everyone's wearing the same..like one million..

  • i like virgin island water because it smells like cocunut but since u already have it i'll have to say chergui by serge l. This bottle smells really sweet and kind of spicy.

  • Geranium pour Monsieur by Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle:

Imagine sitting in a garden while sipping ice water infused with mint leaves.

GPM is very interesting and could be a new genre in men's summer fragrances. No aquatic notes, no citrus. Also, it just won the "Best New Independent Niche Fragrance" on Basenotes.

I would have turned you onto Tea for Two. It reminds me of Chai tea. Black tea, spices, and milk. It smells drinkable. I think you own it already though.

  • L'Air Du Desert Marocain by Andy Tauer. How can a fragrance have the word "air" in the name and leave someone so breathless? Imagine taking everything that is right in the world melting it down and putting it in a bottle in pure liquid gold form. To me Tauer nailed this stuff. If you like Chergui but felt it was too sweet I would recommend this.

  • I would have to say Czech & Speake- Cuba, For me it's perfect in the summer. Smells like Booze, and peppermint, in a very unique way . I think its labeled as a unisex, but definitely a mens fragrance!!

  • Burberry London has to be one of the most unique fragrances. It is the only scent that I have smelled that gives you the feel of Winter and Christmas time. When I smell it during the warmer months of the year, it brings me back to the winter and just gives me a warm feeling.
