It's a shame because it's the funniest thing fielding has ever done and was a rare chance for him to do something without hanging on Julian Barrett's coattails (let's be honest, Barrett's the funny one - Fielding's just the one the girls like).

@DrChalkwithering I didn't like the Boosh particularly. Not a huge fan of Fielding either, although I will admit he's sometimes funny on Buzzcocks, or in the Big Fat Quiz of the Year. Even then, he's usually funny from being either entirely random (thus has little to no rewatch value) or from bouncing off someone else.

It's nice to know I'm not the only one who doesn't find him particularly funny.

I LURRRRRRVE Richmond/Noel Fielding, but how can you not find five minutes in all that time to call back Graham Linehan after having worked on the show for two seasons? That's just manky (also, I'm sure he truly WAS busy with The Mighty Boosh going nuclear and all and meant no harm, so that's when you have a PA or an agent at least reach out -- yow!). I'm really glad he made it right in Series Four.

Actually Noel did call him back. He said at Comic Con that it was a really difficult phone call - so he did it as Richmond. He said that he had to put the Boosh first. So because he was on Tour with the Boosh he had sadly no time for the IT Crowd

Just type in The I.T Crowd in the Youtube search bar and the first link should be 4oDComedy, it's channel 4's new youtube page where they now legally show every single episode of all of their comedy shows. And the episode is series 1 episode 4 - The Red Door.

I think its kinda unfair on Noel's half! Yes he should have returned at least one call but Noel said something at the comic con about the Boosh coming first because it was his thing! And the Boosh didn't make this much fuss when Richard Ayoade couldn't be Dixon Bainbridge because he was under contract with Chanel 4!

yeah he did! say something about it comic con!, and he was busy with the tour! cause the new series of the it crowd well that last series was erm aired in december of last year soooo no wonder he didnt time cause they properly into there tour  and when the show was probley being filmed the boosh were reheresing for it! haha aww i wish he had of had time though :( the show would of been utterly perfect with him it again absolutely love it =^D

I miss Richmond :( I was actually into The Mighty Boosh first, which got me to watch The IT Crowd, because I wanted to see Noel and Richard Ayoade. Now I love the IT crowd of it's own merits, but I still have a warm place in my heart for the episodes with Richmond in them :)
