@MRSIRshadeflurry Well, not knowing what you mean the bass drum was recorded with shure b 52 and it has just an eq and compressor and limiter.. Sometimes I need to use gate but if I remember there is not gate in this one.

@psyckla5 Thats a tokai les paul from the 80's and yes those are emgs in it. The neck pickup is and emg81 and the bridge emg85. I think 85 sounds better in the bridge position than in the neck position.

I have this same mixer except mine is the 8 channel. I wanted to know how you got your guitar to sound so clear and tight? It seems when I throw a condenser on my cab it sounds very thin and tiny. My amp doesnt sound thin and tiny at all. Im running logic pro 8 too.

Doch, sowas sehe ich gern, eigentlich. Ich kann der Trieb zur Alleingang auch gut verstehen. In ein Band zu sein ist wie ein mehrköpfige Ehe: da wird alles hinterfragt und gar nichts gemacht wie vom Liedschreiber vorgehabt weil jeder will unbedingt sein teil aneignen, manchmal bis zur unkenntlichkeit. Unter Umständen, geht das gut, aber nur wenn man bereit ist Komprimissen einzugehen. Und live zu spielen ist ja geil, ohne Zweifel, aber alles ist es nicht. Ein tolle Aufnahme reicht manchmal.
