MGO2 is a much better game, you're just being a nostalgia fag. I liked MGO1 but it can't compare to MGO2 in terms of gameplay. There's just so much more to do in MGO2. Superior CQC system (or lack thereof regarding MGO1 since all you could do was slam), superior ranking system (level, GP, awards, all of this was missing from MGO1), official ranked modes like survival and tournament... you just can't compare them...

Superior ranking system my ass, ranks are now stupid post 1.30 (and they were before), GP and levels have changed the game into a stupid abort fest. 20 bucks you're one of 'em.

CQC is redundant as everyone in the game has a gun that can easily (there's no recoil with silly assault rifle skills) kill anyone from pretty much any range with a headshot.

And the lag? Don't get me started.

Yeah, you're not able to carry your team in a laggy 8 vs 8 room. No way one man can win a single round, no matter how good you are. The game is very unbalanced, probably came out too early(not MGS4, but MGO2).

Good song. I found funny that you miss the stacked games the most, but most of the stuff you mention is right, but SOP wars online, as you call it, has a lot of other good things as well. They should of added a few things with better graphics on MGO1, and we would have the perfect MGO 2 imho, but they changed way too much.

You can do the same on MGO2, I've played in games that have been stacked, I was 3v1'd by players that were seriously better than me, and I came pretty close to winning, I leveled out the scores a fair few times.
