I don't get what the appeal of this is. Things appear and then you shoot them, it seems. Stylishly, of course, but still, it looks kind of boring.

@leewolfgang This really isn't a game that you play for the killer gameplay. This is what's led to the "love it or hate it" stamp the game has. If you can appreciate the surreal atmosphere enough to disregard the less-than-stellar gameplay, it's really awesome, otherwise you probably won't enjoy it.

I think the gameplay is really underrated actually. The control scheme is unusual, but you get used to it - and the quick trigger shooting can be really exhilirating. I know what you mean though, the incredible atmosphere is what keeps you playing.

Schau mal wegen kaufen der Waffen... man merkt das du CS:S und GTA spielst (was ich auch gerne zocke). Aber dieses Spiel ist einfach einmalig WEGEN der Story der schrägen Grafik und dieses frei rumlaufen wäre bei dem Spiel nur störend gewesen, denn du hast echt im Spiel soviel zu laufen das dieses feature schon bequem ist bei dem Spiel. Aber jedem seine Meinung... ^-^

I went to a Game shop to trade a bunch of games in once upon a time and this was one of the games i was trading. The guy said i´d get 3 quid for it. And i said "ok then i´m not gonna play it again anyway". That was one of those moments when your brain brakes down completely, i mean...what the hell? A genuine cult game, creepy, weird, freaky and not like anything else available at the time or since. And the thing is...i never even finished the game. =(
