use a hair straightener to burn the eggs so they dont hatch..the lotions dont kill the eggs..use either have to pick them off or use heat to kill them

well easier way is salt in vinegar.....

wet your hair with hot water then but the vinegar and add the salt to it

in leave for about in hour then take a shower in eaither you have ariel for the clothing use that for your hair it will burn your head but if you dont use your shampoo that you use then after your done comb your hair if you have the lice comb it even better you will find dead one in well the egg fall the next day thats if you do it at night....hope this helps ....

I think that's bullshit. The medical field is full of crap probably due to lack of information, leading to misinformation.

How are you supposed to know where lice like to mingle when you're only doing field test studies on hair, the ONLY place that we KNOW they come from.

My assumption is that if they only lived on human heads, they would be extinct or they would infect nearly 100% of humans.

I really really really doubt any of you are doing test studies on lice and I have a firm belief that no one else has done any real test studies either.

Lice may "seem" to infest more people with clean hair however no one knows at what times they took a shower.

Perhaps a thoroughly washed head might force the bugs out before they breed...no one knows.

Lice like clean hair they so can lay their eggs on it. Dirty hair with oils they don't like, as they cannot attach their eggs/nits to the slippery hair shaft. They do not fly or jump, nor are they transmitted by animals. So washing your hair and having to cut it, is NOT the answer. Please get educated on the subject BEFORE passing judgment .

You should get educated. They don't lay eggs because of how often u wash ur hair, infact it has nothing to do with oil. Whites have greasy hair after a day of missing a shampoo...ur hair is straight which makes it easier for NATURAl oils to slide down a hair shaft. Blacks it's harder, because our curl pattern. Which mean less washing needed DUMB ASS!

I have a 6 year old son and he has been in school since he was 3 and he has never had lice but on the other hand:

my daughter (2 year old) has to go on visitation with the father every other weekend and every other thursday night - friday night and about a month ago she was returned with heaD lice. i gave her a treatment and they were gone. the following week she had to go again , she was infested with lice again. So i now have to give her a treatment as soon as she gets home. Sad!

this is shit wen i was little my dad used to use castor oil tea tree and alchohol he used to soak my hair in it then tye it in a bun and put a shower cap other it i would sleep with it on and in the morning all the lice would b dead then he used to wash my hair out twice comb trough it to see if there were any eggs and then put in an oil and do a french plait its used to work
