  • how much for one cam

  • @bfdengine2 The one camera system package includes the ChaseCam PDR100 recorder, camera, windshield mount, install bracket for PDR100, two 32GB compact flash cards, date/time stamp, auto-start and auto-stop. Priced at $1,290. A proven workhorse in fire districts.

  • awesome video. but why is a fire fighter.. directing traffic, when i saw 3 or more police cars?

  • What was the call???? I watched the arriving at scene part like 5 times and don't see any wrecks?? Awesome video and response too, we have a camera mounted in our rescue engine to use for responses, plus it comes out so someone can grab some pictures at the scene. I also got a gopro camera that I have mounted on various parts of our rigs which give us some sweet angles for response videos

  • That appliance has got such a shitty siren!!

  • neat..

  • Was that EMS Lady waring flannel pants ?

  • wow you guys have a big district to cover good work though

  • Lovely town.... really

  • @HauntedLighthouses The IV was to push drugs to stop your from seizing if you had one on the way to the ER. Neck brace was most likely precautionary. If they have you strapped in right, trust me you won't fall. No one likes riding in the back of a med unit, especially if it has side windows and you get motion sick easy, just keep in mind they are trying to do what's best for you.

  • wow can I drive my FDNY ladder in your town please. in new york nobody makes place for uns :-( stupid fu.... drivers !

  • It almost makes me cry to see how respectful your drivers are in your area here in VA people don't give a shit if your fire, met, or police. They will not get out of your way. They don't stop or pull over. They just keep going. I was amazed to see people stopped on the other side of the street. You'll never see that here. .

  • @photofitrehelper same in ny

  • where did this video take place ?

  • @brrook2010 Stoughton, Wisconsin a little bit SW of Madison

  • Cool

  • nice clear video! love the federal Q!

  • area looks nice

  • Was there a police car following the engine? Sounded like two sirens to me.

  • @Oceanic180 They are both on the same truck. One is the electric siren and the other is a mechanical siren. Both can be used at the same time.

  • @800kirby Always had the interest, but never chased the career path of it. I work for a city, so this gives me the inside look at fire departments. I do recall my father being a volunteer firefighter. I offer ChaseCam systems to all interested.

  • omg did you see that? that darn firetruck ran a red light!!! who do they think they are!!?? lol

  • Was the female EMT a volunteer? Or do EMT's always respond in pyjama bottoms in that county? :P

    Great vid, stay safe.

  • They used the Q siren much more effectively letting it wind down instead of constantly running it at the highest pitch. Distracted motorists like me don' t register a constant high pitch tone over our car stereos, but we would hear this siren and start watching for a fire engine and react sooner

  • Stay safe brothers. Man those cops should of started to block on the highway, got to have a safe working area. Whos to say one those cars tring to pass the big boy in the middle and clip a guy. Stay safe to all my fellow firefighters.

  • damnit, I thought I was the only one that parks in the middle of a street to block traffic...

  • I think it's great that the motorist's in that town really know how to react when an emergency vehicle is behind them :)

  • when he pulls up to the crash the 2nd car in the right is awesome

  • Do you go to different stations or something? because every video you got looks like a new station to me

  • @motoxxrider Yes, these videos do come from different stations. They have purchased a ChaseCam system from me and share their footage. Some of my clips also come from doing demos with Fire Departments. Always looking to help departments gather the experience of owning a video recording system as a training tool.

  • @miraclevideojake What kind of siren was yelping there?

  • 5:46 is that EMT wearing pajama bottoms?

    what the fuck O_o

  • @cmanleyspy Probably a volunteer, not a big deal, they'll get the job done just as well as others. Pants don't make an EMT.

  • Firefigthter directing traffic? Oh my

  • @Fox250R Why not? That's a pretty routine duty for firemen at an accident scene?? They do it all the time....

  • @Fox250R And? Some of us have traffic direction training.

  • Amazing how well your citizen drivers get out of your way. Never happens like that in Washington, D.C.

  • how fast are fire trucks and medical personal allowed to go over the speed limit??

  • @IceRoadTrucker1000 per book it's 15 mph..but police won't ever pull a emergency vehicle going code 3 (red lights and sirens) unless they want a huge lawsuit for a patient dying.

  • If you're pulling over for an emergency vehicle, don't stop in an intersection, they may need to turn there. And for Ghod's sake, if you're at a light that changes for the emergency vehicle, pull forward and make a hole!

  • WOW! did they respond from the opposite side of the county? and exactly what were they responding too? I didn`t see anything that required the emergency equipment!

  • Responding to the edge of their district. Vehicle was down in ditch on the left.

  • @dodgeguyz

the reason they send a truck is because they make good road blocks, also they have the equipment (eg. the jaws) if needed. they also bring extra help,

  • @dodgeguyz The smallest impacts can cause damage unseen, it's best to get them en route and not need them, then get on scene and lose a patient because of something that could've been prevented.

  • @dodgeguyz

A car crash, and I think the person on the radio said the car went off the road. And their performing CPR.

  • yes lets stop here. . ( stop in the mid of road)

  • Ha pov missed the truck

  • look at that red beuty of a car to the right at 5:36. it's a hot rod right?

anyway awsome video and great driving

  • they sure had a long way to go

  • wtf why is the EMT in pajama pants?

  • @irishfighter429 Some volunteer departments respond straight from home, she probably just didn't change into duty pants.

  • love the Q

  • The tri states are such a nice and respectful place to live, Greeting From your neighbor Iowa!

  • uff da! lol

  • Comment removed

  • wow i really enjoyed this vid. nice work!!

  • Your town looks beautiful :)

  • What kind of camera system is used here?

  • Superb video, excellent camera position. Being British it's always nice to see how the emergency services cope in other countries and I agree with the other comment that your motorists in rural areas act admirably, compared to cities, I wonder why that is ???

  • The Medic is not much to look at is she....lol

  • WOW I've never had traffic pull over and stop like that....

  • wow i dont think i've ever had traffic get out of the way like that for me... :(

  • I feel sorry for the people in the wreck...................Nothing like going 10 miles to get to a wreck....need another fire station dum asses AND lets park right in the niddle of the highway.....YEP...DUMB ASSES

  • @stevechad Well if you pay attention in the beginning of the video pulling out of the station it appears that the camera is mounted on the right side so at the end when it looks like the truck is parked right in the middle of the road, its maybe about a foot right of the center line. And if your judging by the shadows on the road, look at the ambulance and you can see the shadow is out to the right of the med unit, so think a little bit next time you start jumping to conclusions......DUMB ASS

  • @stevechad

I bet that truck covered the 10 miles FASTER than a Fire Truck could cover 1-2 miles in the heart of a major city... In less populated states, Ambulances & Fire trucks routinely respond 15-20 miles on a call, and think nothing of it.....

You can't always have help nearby, especially if you choose to live many miles from town, at the end of a 3 mile long dirt road.....

  • white mustang gt 500 at 1:23 :D

  • @THEea101 hate to ruin your moment but that looks like the base model. the gt 500 has different rims wider tires sits lower and has stripes down the middle and on the sides. sorry man.

  • Nice driving.

  • Does that truck have a train horn??

  • Why is the EMT wearing jammies ?

  • i didnt see anything. where was the wreck at did the person drive off the side of the road? and i heard they are doing cpr did the person make it ?

  • Excellent, steady, clear video.

Date and time not in the way.

    "They are doing CPR."

    Outcome?

Hope someone directed traffic and gave opposing traffic an opportunity to go.

I use a dash-mounted 30 gig hardrive camcorder which can easily be re-aimed or taken outside.

  • Why do you guys feel it is necessary to park in the oncomming lane, blocking that traffic?

  • @guitarguy940 You make a box around your work area to make it safer for the rescue workers. Yourself and the victim are more important than the people in line.

  • @guitarguy940 Personally id prefer the road completely blocked off at the nearest intersection and traffic rerouted. Unfortunatly it might make people a few minutes late, but they will live. Traffic driving past a scene is just an extra hazard. You may think people would go threw cautious, but a lot like to stare as they go past. about a month or so ago there was a ff killed on a highway because cars slowed down and it just took one person not paying attention to cause a deadly accident.

  • this is cool every fire department should have one

  • Where are the Norwegian Blondes?

  • At least they pull out of your way be for u even get to them.. We have morons here i guess.. Wait until we get up to their bumpers and then we still have to follow behind them for a mile(delaying us by going 35-50mph) be for they get out of the way.. Great driving by the way! stay safe.

  • hahaha run fat emt! run! (@5:50)

  • Why would the driver block the entire road

  • @TCTOWGUY Only makes the jobs of everyone there safer, your using the truck to make a safe area for you and others assisting. police should closing the road while rescue members and ambulance are there.

  • Great ride along.

Safe driving and correct use of the 'Q'

I'd be happy to be on your truck anytime :)

    Good work guys !

  • Yep I live here and yes its a norwiegn tridition anyway see the gas leak! TODAY!!

  • Er du Norsk då? Nice vid, great driving.

  • jeez thats a long drive

  • great response!

  • holy crap!!! the cars actually pull over and stop there! Where I live they pull over half of the way and then keep driving making it harder to pass, especially on a 2 lane road.

  • Weeeeeee its a fun ride

  • pierce engine? nice ride along

  • disappointing finish

  • dang long drive!

  • forgot to blow your horn goin through the first red light.

  • what kind of video system is this?

  • w000t GO STO-TOWN!

  • 0:19 is that flag on the right hand side norwegan? nice video

  • what town is this and is it full time.. im starting my trainging my junior year and im looking for a good full time department but not to big of a city

  • Go for Gary, Indiana. Crumy pitiful city yes, but there's a lot of fires to keep you from getting bored.

  • @sgtmorgo13 Did you ever have to volunteer with a dept. for your schooling? I hear sometimes you do.

  • Beautiful clear video picture all the way!

  • sucks for the guy in the POV, just missed it... unless hes a truckie

  • he should have parked over more and let traffic go

  • negative

  • Here is a good question.... Who was responsible for traffic control?

  • thats an easy one, you were

  • What's up with all the Norwegian flags?

  • Many people settled here from Norway years ago. Our city, Stoughton, Wisconsin has the largest Syttende Mai Celebration in the United States!

  • That's great! I definitely have to visit your town someday then!

  • @miraclevideojake norway rock

  • @miraclevideojake Ja, vi elsker dette landet som det stiger frem! Leve Norge! Long live Norway! God save the King!

  • 0:20 FBI car?

  • yea its a fbi

  • ...or a normal suv relecting the trucks lights

  • @wakeoforion999 no its flashing the same light pattern in the same spot in the windshield... POV

  • @tonyhawk560 no its not its a POV

  • ummmm no...pov

  • heres a though..an suv reflecting the engines emergency lights

  • @HeKuTK0 POV

  • a car crash on my cousin birhtday..wow

  • I thought I recognized the scenery, than looked at the video description and saw it was Stoughton, neat to have a video from a place I recognize.

  • Thank's for the reply.

  • An excellent video. lane discipline by othetr drivers seems amirable. In the early part of the video the fire truck went through a red traffic light without slowing down, is that legal ? Here in the UK, the fire truck can go through a red light, but if he causes an accident he must face the consequences.

  • From the little I know, the laws are a bit different here than in the UK. Here in the US I believe the fire truck is NOT "automatically" guilt in case of an accident, like in the UK. I am sure laws vary from state to state, etc, but in general if they have their lights AND siren going I think whoever hits them is more likely to be at fault.

In most videos, emergency vehicles DO slow down in those situations. In this case, it is a SMALL town and they probably felt safe doing what they did.

  • any emergency vehicle is never responsible...no matter the circumstances to clear it up.

  • @hottshottkid40

Not always. As said before, it differs state by state.

  • completely false

  • @nigelandbozena Canada bc aslong as you slow or stop to make sure all traffic is yielding to you its okay, but if you got a clear view both ways you can shoot through it tho you should always stop or slow down

  • @nigelandbozena no its not illegal to run a red light ONLY if youhave lights and sirens on

  • @nigelandbozena Most of the time, emergency vehicles in the US have to stop at a red light, clear the intersection, then go...Kind of odd for them to go straight through in this one. I guess it's a department specific policy.

  • can't it drive faster!!! it seems very slow to me

  • it seems to be going slow but there going prettey fast its just so big going down the interstate is like going down a road with a speed limit of 45

  • the bigger the vehicle the slower it looks like its going. just cuz its a wider body

  • top speed is just over 60 on those bro.

  • @386obc our international will hit just over 85

  • That's an optical illusion due to the wide angle lense. Try covering the sides... it'll look a lot faster.

  • trucks can only go speed limit..no faster...usually!

  • Great driving here, good emergency response. Thanks for posting!

  • Is that a unmarked fire dept. suv at the beggining of the video at 0:15

  • I would say that is a personal vehicle owned by one of the many volunteers we have in Stoughton. He must be responding to the station as the page went out.

  • @miraclevideojake im not sure how they do it here, but a Red light signifys a chief of the dept. Blue is everyone else.

  • @miraclevideojake it the red Chevy Silverado at 1:00 belonging to a volun. fireman? i think i saw a blue light but i'm not sure.

  • Hey Guys.... How do we get the Camera? Good Ride ALong

  • Darn UFOs observing at 05:50 ! LOL

  • great vid; loved it 5 stars!

  • great video! did someone code? cuz I think *if I heard right* that EMS was attempting CPR...

  • Is there another FF unit following the truck?

  • That is actually the secondary siren you're hearing..... It is on when were not using the mechanical one....

  • no the some trucks have those siren put in cause they recommend u use them too

  • i think it was another ff going to station

  • the first guy you pass looks like and unmarked cop unless it was your lights refecting off of it

  • It was one of our voulunteers respoding to the call in his personal vehichle

  • Stoughton! Greetings from a former ff from Weston, WI. I totally understand the drivers, in WI are not the worst at yielding the ROW. I also understand the long response to the scene. Very typical for the area. Only concern was placement of the first engine. Why sit in the middle of the road? You alomost blocked off your rescue? truck coming in with extrication tools? Anyway, I wasnt there so it's not a judgement issue just a comment. Keep up the god work and stay safe. Greetings from Florida.

  • u must live in a big town my firedepartment covers two town and the longest we have is 5-10 minutes

  • Pretty awesome ride, too long of a ride though, the town should have more fire stations spread out, in my town, you can live anywhere in the town and a fire truck can be dispatched to your house within 2-3 minutes rather than 5:39.

  • man you have some courteous citizens there that got out of the way!! i wish we had that! we run a gauntlet every time we go to a call in our town

  • NICE MOVIE

  • nice video, long ride though.

  • why is the Norwegian flag along the way?

  • Many people from Norway here, please look back three comments.

  • ah i see. im from norway. i want to be fireman aslo :D Norway have worlds best fire truck is new models. and one day i drive that fire truck :D

  • The city celebrates its norwegian heritage, wiki Stoughton Wisconsin.

  • was that a pov just after u pulled out of the station.

  • Yes, good eye!

  • Nice looking town!

  • why so many norwegian flags in town?

  • Stoughton, Wisconsin had many Norwegian people settle here 100 years ago. The flags represent this heritage and the city hosts the largest Syttende Mai (17th of May) Norwegian Celebration Festival in all of USA. We are located in the north central part of USA.

  • nice to hear that

  • nice vid. that look like a nice town to live in

  • Actually I just noticed some places I recognized so I know it is Stoughton WI.

  • Is this Stoughton WI?

  • nice response but why does the q sound so weird? or is it not even a q?

  • beautiful landscape and town and the way drivers move out of the way is just......i never know such place existed in "America"

Altough i see many norwegian flags xD that maybe answer's it xD

  • many norwegian flags

  • Good ride, good video quality. is good see the people moving out the way, in my city the drivers never move, making the firefighter work so hard. sorry for my bad english : )

  • Comment removed

  • Excellent response. Just one question, are EMS personnel actually wearing pajama bottoms? She sure looks it. Here in FL we are required to be professional and are always wearing uniforms. Anyways, great video. Glad everyone gets out of your way.

  • why does it look like your riding that right shoulder so much?

  • It may appear that way because at this time the camera is mounted high right on the inside of the windsheild. That is another nice feature with ChaseCam, you choose where to mount the camera and can move it to a different location at any time. Some of my other videos posted on this site are center mounted.

  • his lights and sirens mean yall stop even if you got green he dont need to obey that law because if you go in front of him even on green your actually breaking a law

  • and he can just hit you off the road
